Powers been out for a day, I am unfazed! I run my fridge during the day, and my internet & computers at night. Plus my setup keeps all the little stuff charged as well. I HAVE AN ARMY OF SOLAR POWER!
P.S. For larger setups like this I Highly recommend goalzero's 8mm 4X combiner much more efficient in my opinion. http://www.goalzero.com/p/45/8mm-input-4x-combiner

I purchased the yeti for emergency use, and I have not had the opportunity to fully test it during an actual outage. The unit arrived fully charged, and was relatively easy for one person to assemble on the cart (two people would be better). There were instructions on assembling the cart. Use of the yeti is also rather straight forward -- plug & play. In the direct winter sun of Pennsylvania, I was able to generate 30 watts total using the two included boulder panels -- I was hoping for more. I expect it will be higher later in the year. I plan to add a 100 watt panel via andersen power poles for a quicker recharge. There is a letter warning that running the battery too low will shorten it's useful life.

Using for backup for power outages. Neighbors have gas generators that let the world know what you have is available for stealing because they have to be used outside. Tried last night as test (just bought) and will run the fan on my wood stove for 15 hours or TV for 12. Will be doing test on fridge. Does charge slow but its winter and I have a bunch of trees blocking my sun access. Will be daisy chaining 2 batteries because can easily keep them charged. Charging my 1250 right now with 4 boulder 30s outside on a tripod and a 30 feet extension running through dryer vent in wall so yeti stays safely in the house.

I bought this as an emergency backup for my refrigerator and other needed power. Tested it with my 25 cubic ft fridge with normal day time in and out. Full charge to 40% in 18 hours, with normal use. If I were being careful I'm sure it would have been over 24 hrs. I have 3 panels and like the Escape 30 panels better, but they require an adaptor and I don't get anywhere near 30 w from it. More like 17. Well made, very durable, but heavy. I have long cables for my panels because I can't carry the Yeti outside to charge, nor do I want it sitting in the sun all day. So the Yeti sits under a table at the door and I run a 30' extension out to the panels.

Still learning my yeti 1250

Just got yeti on march 19 , plug in one panel which comes with it and at 4 Pm. in PA in give me 26 watts , today on march 23 two panels give me 42-46 watts with 41 degree outside not too bad at all , of cause on cloudy day it a lot less , first impression not bad at all . I want to add extra battery's to have longer run and use higher wattage appliances. Price wise : if I would build my own generator using same battery , same inverter with safety futures and all engineering and outputs I would spend close amount of money . So I'm leaning solar , will keep post more .

I thought that i had re-searched this product on-line, talked to the rep at a store, over-all, i am VERY dissapointed with this product, they mention it as back up for a FRIDGE?!?!?!? not even possible. i have my laptop, t.v and dvd player lugged in. thats it. we can barely get through a 2 hr. movie before its down to 50-60% power remaining. i chained 4 panels, in FULL sunlight, the MAX wattage input is 58-60 watts. wtih FOUR panels. I am very disappointed.

The first one we got did not hold a charge, we returned it and the second one is not charging via solar. We had the panels in Direct Sun for 2 full days and it never did gain any charge. We checked, double checked and triple checked thinking maybe we had done something incorrect. We have ordered the 350 hoping for better results and we hope the 1250 gets changed in a way that works better...so we can order again. This is a product we want.

purchased 1250 yeti from costco with 4 30w panels and returned it already. It did power a refridgerator for 12 hrs. with the panels in the sun but the panels 4 together put out only 35 watts the fridge when running drew 126 watts,it supposed to be portable but way to heavy. and cables that came with the panels are way to short, its very hard to keep the heavy box inside and the panels in the sun,and there longer wires reduce the wattage. would not recommend this product even if it was half as much as there charging.
