I purchased in order to have a solar gen in addition to a traditional gas gen. A buyer must recognize its limitations on overall power but it is a huge step above the smaller products. I intend to use this for emergencies such as power outage, blizzards, etc. and for camping. My kit included four solar panels. They charge at a lower than rated level often but still do the job. The generator is very well made and designed. It is very good quality. I found the so-called quick clips to attach the solar panels together to be a bit of a challenge and would not call them quick. Maybe with more practice they will live up to their name. The handle and wheels are a good idea for moving this heavy generator around. I learned that the wheels and handle work fine on level ground but be careful on stairs. The wheels are set too far in to let you go up or down stairs as you would with a two wheel hand cart. You need to go slowly and almost straight down or up one step at a time. If you tilt it back as you would with a hand cart you will damage or scratch a hardwood stair or tile stair. It might also pull some carpet if a pile hooks up with an attachment point. Instructions could be better, in particular how to open the back panel in order to hook up a second battery. Overall, very pleased with the purchase despite the high price tag.

I have had the product for just over 6 months and used it 2 times to run some lights and refrigerator and sump pump. With no issues after sever thunderstorms knocked out power for several hrs

I bought the Yeti 1250 and 8 Boulder solar panels recently. This setup is indispensable to be ready for any interruption in electrical power from the power company. I have used it several times for such power interruptions and the GoalZero kit has proven itself.
