I love my Yeti

I have a garden tractor with a trailer I take my Yeti around and trim my trees with an electric chain saw. It's nice to be able to take all of my power tools anywhere on the property without a long cord. I keep it in the house for when the power goes out. I also have a gas generator out in the shed but it is always storming when the power goes out It's nice to just plug it in and have instant power.

Good for vehicles interior use

Excellent product for my use: I have a small-footprint off-road vehicle that I designed and built to provide life support.... It is impractical to use a gas generator... This works because it can be built in to the interior since there is no issue with gas. The two panels I got are mounted on the roof, but are not sufficient to power my marine refer, tv, et al for more than a few days, even with continuous charge. A lot of charge is lost over night. I shut down the refer at night and utilize the ambient cold in the box and from frozen food till morning... But it's still a loosing battle. I plan to purchase two or three more panels this month that I can add when the vehicle is parked... More later if necessary because I love the product. It works!!!

I love solar

I love this generator. It is simple to use, there is no noise, and no gasoline smell. It is portable and can be used for my husbands contracting business or at home. The only thing I don't like about the Yeti 1250 is that the handle does not collapse for easier storage. Also, I bought one of these generators for a friend who lives in the Philippines and she just told me that it is working great and is powering 4 homes with light!

Great for camping

We have taken the Yeti 1250 camping. Worked great. So heavy so a small dolly us recommended if you don't have strong arms in your party. It was great running a fan in the tent on the Yeti to keep condensation at Bay and allowed a C-Pap user to camp who hasn't been able to in years. We also plugged in an electric cooler for food and drinks. Didn't have to worry about restocking ice.

Runs Everything!

This thing is a beast just like the name says! It ran my full size stainless steel fridge for 15 hours straight. I haven't found something that it cant run. I leave it plugged in the garage ready for any camping trip or power outage.

Peace of Mind

Back-up power that's easy to use, easy to transport, even easy to look at has provided a peace of mind that matters to me. The future is hard to predict and the probability of any one thing going wrong is hard to guess, but the idea that SOMETHING will go wrong is much easier to estimate. I'm very glad that I have Goal Zero with me for just such a situation.

One Sunday afternoon my power went out. I was able to still cook my crockpot dinner AND power my fridge! Saved my dinner and my stuff in my fridge ! This thing is great to have for short or long power outages with my 4 boulder solar panels

An absolute must-have....

The Yeti is easy to use. Keep it plugged into house receptacle and it is always ready. We use it primarily as an emergency power supply for when the power goes out, usually from a storm. Its already saved us a lot of money spent on frozen food by keeping our upright freezer running. It also helps keep us entertained during power outages by being able to recharge our tablets by means of the USB outlets and keeping us in touch by recharging our phones.
