great ice but won't stop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THe ice is great but it won't stop-- you can't pause the making of ice. THat is the most basic control of an ice maker and this fails!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 15” ice maker is the perfect size for my home kitchen. Plenty of ice, fast. The ‘cubes’ are small square slices, they work well to chill drinks, but do not last well for coolers. Noisy when producing ice.

Pretty much the same unit after seven years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off with I really like the unit. The installation (replacement) was easy. I wasn’t positive it came with the sump pump – which it did.
It seems odd that the unit is nearly exactly the same as the one the previous homeowners purchase seven years ago.
The reason I didn’t give it five stars is it seems ridiculously expensive. I get it. This is a luxury item, but there’s no reason that it should cost so much.

I love the ice that it makes, but even after properly maintaining each one, they only seem to last about 3 years! They are extremely expensive…cost more than some upgraded refrigerators with icemaker and water dispenser!
