Amazing Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the ice maker to fill the space of an old trash compactor. It is an ideal appliance next to the sink and fit perfectly in the space. It produces clear ice that doesn't stick together when a drink is poured over it. It produces lots of ice with little effort. This model also has the required pump to remove excess water.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best clear ice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth or fifth ice maker in my life. So far it is the best one. The cubes crystal clear, uniform, and are a great shape for beverages, coolers, or making ice cream. The machine is quiet and hopefully will be dependable for many years. I wish I had bought a Whirlpool ice maker earlier.

So far so good for this pricey unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a nice Uline after 5 years. First bought a Scotsman but came w a plastic door and no light, was so loud I replaced it with this unit. Pro’s: Good construction, makes ice non stop, much quieter than the Uline and Scottsman units. Con’s: The ice is the weak, soft ice which I do not like, it doesn’t stop making ice and the ice freezes up into large clumps just inside the door so it spills out a bit and you have to break it up.
I am shocked at the cost of these units now and there lack of longevity for it just to make
ice. But I guess comparatively this has been a good purchase thus far, 6 months into it.

Stopped working after two months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank goodness we have a warranty. Pump died after two months and had to be replaced. Hoping it won’t take long to get the replacement part but who knows these days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it So Far!

It is so nice to have ice always ready and also to have enough ice to fill up a cooler if needed. Our ice maker in our Kitchen Aid Refrigerator just couldn't produce enough ice and we were always having problems with it so we decided to try this and so far so good!
