Quiet and productive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this ice maker as a replacement for its predecessor model from 2005.
KitchenAid had maintained the same overall dimensions so it slipped right into the same space. One noticeable improvement is the controls and hopefully the electronics. We'd had issues with the electronic control board in the previous mode where it would get stuck in a cycle and require powering on and off to clear the problem. This one doesn't have those same problems.

The Best Ice There is for making a Cocktail.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ice maker is a replacement for another Kitchen Aid Ice Maker I had for more years than I can remember, the compressor motor finally wore out. Since I think that you can't really make a good cocktail without these small cubes, and the fact that I love to chew this ice, I immediately bought a replacement. The new model has several nice improvements over the old one.

Doesn’t make ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing but trouble with this product. Makes a lot of whoshing noise when it is operating correctly, which unfortunately is not often enough. Had it serviced once about two months ago for not making ice and it is once again not making ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible. Absolutely Horrible

Had this installed from my builder, and it has been an absolute disaster. Didn't work one day. Had 5 repair visits which resulted in no fix. They eventually had me wait for 2 months to get a new machine, which just delivered. Guess what.. this one doesn't work either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

18” Under Counter Ice Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One Week Review - I like the features of the 2023 version which are identical to the 2005 version it replaced. Same features with a couple of improvements. Notable is the SS front handle is shaped better, and it avoids the front sheathing fasteners on the top edge so keeping it clean is now easier. I consider KitchenAid to be the best brand in its price range, best features at lower cost.

Horrible service. Horrible installers & product

Worst purchasing experience of my life. Installers wouldn’t remove copper line. I had to hire a plumber. When installers came for second attempt, they didn’t have the right size coupling and left without installing. I called a plumber to install at my expense. Not the Icemaker won’t make ice and has flooded my floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantasic Ice Maker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I waited two years to replace our old ice maker. "This is definitely worth the wait!" The design is exceptional, the ice quality is superb, and the quality is fantastic!" We totally endorse this machine. The machine runs quieter, does not create the heat that my previous machine. The front is easy to open and close. I love the quality feel when you open and close. The Print Shield finish is a great feature. Quality feel opening and closing! I rarely hear the ice dumping once the . The ice maker even has a feature fo a water filter is you desire to use one, and a separate ice scooper area away from the ice.
"I sure by now you know that I am totally sold on this product!" To top it all, the Kitchen Aid Ice Maker has a One Year Warranty which some of the other brandsI researched did not offer. "Couldn't be happier!" 5 + Stars in our opinion. -:( Couldn't be happier!
