I love this juicer

I have only made one batch of juice from this juicer. I just received it yesterday, but I was so impressed I am giving this 5 stars just because I feel like it. I used to have a centrifuge juicer so this was a big step for me. I had not idea what a masticating juicer would do, but once you use it I cannot see going back to centrifuge. Reviews for clean up were mixed, but I had no problem at all. I ran a batch of warm water through it after juicing and it did half the job for me. The rest took about 5 minutes, which is about how long it took to clean my old one. There were a couple crevices that were a little tricky to get some of the pulp out, but the final results outweights that little inconvenience. I got more juice in this batch than I would have with my old juicer, hardly any foam, but the bonus was how much better this juice tastes.

Filter cracked too easily

Within 6 months of use (perhaps used 12 times) the metal on the filter broke and now I can't even find where to purchase a replacement. I love the juicer and the quality of the juice that I'm able to make, except for this one feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Screen Filter not user friendly

We bought the juicer for Christmas and have been using it for 3 months. The filter has been difficult to clean and fibrous veggies like celery do not travel well through the filter and tend to clog up. The mixer advertises to put in whole veggies and apples but on our last use one of the items caused the filter basket to break. We like the juicer but the filter basket is not easy to clean and now made worse because it has a broken band and hole in the mesh. If I could do it over, I would buy the high speed unit.

Very powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow. This juicer is incredible. It is solid and heavy. It was easy to assemble, and easy to wash after use. It had no trouble with citrus, apples, berries and melon. When trying to pulse or reverse direction to move fruit through it does rotate the basket a bit which pulls the system out of lock and turns it off. This is a slight design flaw and minor inconvenience. However, it is so powerful, you rarely need to pulse. Overall I'm incredibly happy with the juicer and look forward to using lots of produce for drinks and popsicles this summer.

Beautiful machine. The most impressive part is how the heavy the “drill bit” part of the machine is. Super quiet compared to other types of juicers. Like any machine don’t overwhelm it, add some water as you go along. I try not to use the machine for more than half hour-45 minutes. I like that you can press the reverse button. This is probably my favorite kitchen appliance. I am the type of person that buys weathertech and yeti. You get what you pay for. 10 year warranty, no brainer. I almost never take the time to write a review. Just wanted for others to have fun. Ur welcome Breville.

Amazing Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m deeply in love with this piece of machine. Here's why .. I wanted to be able to juice leafy greens and not feel like I was wasting money because centrifugal juicers just don’t handle them as well.
Every part of the juicing process, from ingredient prep to cleanup, takes much longer than a centrifugal, but it’s still very worth it. I’m happy to juice for an hour if it means that I have enough juice for the week for my juice diet. Nutrients begin degrading within 20 minutes in a centrifugal juicer, due to a combination of increased heat and oxidation. That’s less of a worry here, so I feel comfortable juicing every once in a few days !
The chute is kinda of narrow, so you will need to chop your produce into appropriate sizes. But the yield is also much more than the other centrifugal options I've tried. Can't beat the 10 year warranty ! All in all, I am hooked.

The directions are written clearly. The first time I used it I loved it! It's now a staple piece in my kitchen, and we use it daily! There were some spots I had trouble cleaning at first, but i quickly realized the bst way to clean it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Breville Big Squeeze juicer. It is easy to assemble. I love that it comes with cleaning tools to help clean off the parts needed to Juice. It has 2 compartments, 1 for soft large fruits and vegetables and the other for hard long fruits or vegetables. This juicer is quiet so you can juice anytime of the day. I love the large containers for the juice and the pulp. It also has a backwards mode that will reverse if any fruit gets stuck, very great feature to have. This is best juicer I have ever used, the pulp is really dry so it is extracting a lot of juice from the fruits and vegetables, this is a slow juicer so you are getting all of the nutrients from the fruits and vegetables. Really easy to clean, and doesn’t take a lot of counter space, I love this juicer.
