Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator

I loved this product especially the fact that it was usable wet or dry. I loved the different caps for various body parts. I like it better than other products I have used. I have no suggestions for improvements. My overall impression was positive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received a free sample of the Phillips epilator. The design is very nice but the
product was a little confusing to use and it has too many pieces.It was a free sample for review.It does what it is suppose to do but it was a little painful and too time consuming.Although I have mixed reviews.I would recommend that you should at least give it a try. After you get use to it it's not as painful.

This product did a good job of living up to my expectations. I should mention I was sent a free sample to use for this review. It would be great if epliators could work without being painful and this one was no expectation. However in comparison to what`s on the market it`s better than most and does it`s job well. Would definitely consider purchasing again in the future.

Cons: painful

I was given this product for free for my honest review. First let me say I have tried epilators long ago and swore I would never do that again. Let me start with, I love this product! I used it everywhere, underarms, legs, and bikini area. I do get a brazilian wax every 4 weeks and was due but I decided to try this instead. OK, first the positive it was very easy to use and I am not going to say painless but easily tolerable. I really like that you can use it wet or dry so when I would use it in the shower for my legs and underarms. The only negative is that is does not work really well above the lip. It could be it is because it is a smaller area but I just had issues with that. Other than that I loved this product! I will no longer get my monthly waxes so that will save me a lot of money in the long run. Go and get this you will not regret it!

Cons: did not work above my lip

Fantastic upgrade from previous models

Upon receiving the free sample epilator from Philips, I was immediately impressed that it was cordless and rechargeable without compromising the weight of the unit. The ergonomic of the epilator is almost sensual and curvy, seems to fit perfectly into hands without feeling clumsy or fear of dropping it, shaped like a larger razor. My favourite feature is that it is cordless as my previous epilator was cords and not rechargeable. Product instructions are thorough and concise, presented in sleek packaging. Since I have previously been using epilators over around 7 years, I didn’t feel any sensitivity using the unit, and managed to get even the smaller hairs perfectly. Also not as loud as other models I have used. I would highly recommend this to all friends and family as it’s perfect to use while in the bath or shower, on the go, also never have to pay for razors ever again. It is also fast to recharge and portable home or on vacation.
Pros: portable, rechargeable, lightweight, quiet
Cons: unit is white coloured

The best Epilator I ever tried!

I was so lucky to try this Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator with no cost! I am very happy because this really met my expectation! I was so scared at first because I know this will hurt! I follow the instructions and honestly it doesn't hurt! My skin feel so smooth and the growth my hair is very slow. Very handy! It is so easy to use and not heavy! 100% highly recommended!

I received this in exchange for my review. After years of waxing, shaving a even trying laser hair removal - this epilator is a godsend. It`s ergonomic handle make is so comfortable to use. My eyes are not as good as they used to be and the light really helps me see what I`m doing. Strangely, my legs are the my most sensitive hair removal area, so it took a few sessions before I got used to the feeling. Using it in the shower made a HUGE difference regarding the pain level. It took a few passes but my armpits have never been so smooth! This came just in time - I plan to take this baby with me through all my summer travels. No more trying to find a waxing salon in some remote beach village where I don`t speak the native language - I could tell you horror stories lol. Overall, I this is a handy little tool that has effectively replaced my razor.
Pros: handy, convenient, effective

On the positive, the unit is clearly very well made. Functions well when wet or dry.
It`s light feature makes it easy to see what you are doing.
Several attachments included for epilating different body parts & to modify unit to a clipper as well.

I found the discomfort tolerable on my legs, but personally, I would not be keen to try on more sensitive locations like underarms or face. It did leave my skin looking quite red & irritated. Best to use at night before bed to allow your skin a chance to calm down. Sadly I`ve only had a week or two to try, so I cannot speak to the claim that it will become easier with time.
Overall, I found that the hair removal was uneven, requiring many passes over the same skin. Ultimately, I felt that too much hair was left behind, feeling the need to shave anyway if I wanted be be hair free.
Pros: well made, multiple adapters, wet or dry use
Cons: left my skin red and irritated., uneven hair removal
