Love this product!

The Satinelle is fantastic! I love that I can use it in the comfort of my own home and don't need to make an appointment days or weeks in advance of when I'm looking to remove unwanted hair. At first it feels a little prickly, but after about 10 seconds, you become used to it and the results are seriously fantastic. Plus, I didn't need to use it again for about three weeks.
Buy this product!! A must!
Pros: fast, convenient, economical (in the long run), great results

Breaks the hair

This epilator is breaking the hair and unfortunately I ended up having ingrown hair after 2 usage. :(
Pros: great design without cable
Cons: doesn’t pull the hair properly

Good if you wax regularly

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
I was really excited to try this product but I was disappointed in the results. I tried it on several body parts both in and out of the shower. I gauged my pain (0= no pain, 5=poor wax job) and the results considering how much hair was removed (0= no hair removed, 5= all hair removed leaving smooth results)
About me: I am white and with medium skin tone. I`d say I have average hair growth.
Legs-I typically shave my legs, I stopped shaving for 3 days before using
-Pain= 2

-I used this on my one leg and went over it several times. It did pull out some hair but not all. I did not have any red bumps after but when I went in the pool the next day I felt and very mild burning sensation from the chlorine but even after no bumps. I tried it in the shower on the other leg as well but the results were the same

I used this on one underarm dry and the other wet. Pain for both was the same. I had to go over my underarm about 10 times to see any substantial results but it did not remove it all and did not leave it smooth or hairfree.

NO. Just, No! I only made it about an inch before I was in too much pain. Not worth it! I tried holding the skin taught, used in the shower, but still too painful.

Arms- Don`t use hair removal, hair is fine and blonde.

This worked very well for a quick touch up for upper lip. It removed the darker thicker hair but left the light peach fuzz. It probably worked well because I wax normally.

I tried the electric shaver and was very dissatisfied. I used it on my legs and underarms; it left my legs and underarm still stubbly and the hair was noticeable still.
Pros: quick set up, good for waxing touch ups, charge lasts a long time
Cons: does not remove all hair, painful in certain place, electric shave does not work well

Worked better than expected

I received a free sample of this epilator for my honest, unbiased feedback. Overall I really enjoyed this product. The instructions were easy to follow and I was able to charge the product up really quick and use. It worked really well and was not nearly as painful as others I have tried in the past. My shin was super smooth and I didn’t have any irritation. It had a really nice design that fit in my hands perfectly. It was quiet too which is a nice point. The only thing I have mastered yet is how to clean it quickly. Overall I would highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to remove hair efficiently and economically at home.
Pros: nice design, effective, great construction, ergonomic design
Cons: cleaning

This review is for the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator BRE625.
Overall, it`s an excellent product. The ergonomic design and weight make it extremely easy to hold and maneuver. This product comes with 5 attachments (and a travel pouch which is quite durable) and so creates any combination one could possibly need in an epilator kit.
Cleaning:
The parts are easy to remove yet stay put during use. I don`t anticipate any buildup in crevices over time.

Disappointing

I was excited to receive this product for free as a sample because like every woman it is a pain to shave almost daily. I used this product 3 times hoping maybe it would get better or thinking ok maybe I did not use it correctly, but no it was horrible each time. It did not remove my hair, It seemed to cut the hair down but it never removed it enough to feel smooth. It also hurt a little which I did expect. I did not mind it hurting if it actually worked. Very disappointing!
Pros: cordless
Cons: did not remove hair
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Turned my view of epilators around!

I`ve used an epilator before and was nervous to try again. I received a free Santinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator to use and review. It was awesome! First, it wasn't nearly as painful! I did both legs and my armpits. I used the massaging attachment and loved it! I didn't experience the same discomfort that caused me to previously stop using another brand. Next, the handle was so comfortable to hold and made moving the epilator around a breeze. Third, the light was great. I could see and get at all the hairs. Finally, I didn't have much irritation after use. I could have easily worn shorts and a tank top without fear of looking too red!
Pros: great handle, nice attachments, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

smooth underarms

I received my shaver as a free sample. I love the fact that it has several attachments and a bag for storage. The razor on the second speed was a little sharp for the first use but it did the job I expected in all areas.
I would recommend this to a friend!
