Don’t be afraid to try it!

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest personal review. And honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised! Was anticipating some level of pain, but in most places I used it, I could barely feel anything. I DID see results though! The product comes with several different guards for the epilator, plus a head for shaving and one for trimming hair. This makes it easy to trim back hair in any areas needed before epilating. The guide gives many tips on how to most successfully use the device and get the desired results, and I was surprised to find that it did work well while in the shower. The only body part where I experienced some pain was my upper lip, but it was far less pain than I anticipated. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product and will be recommending it to friends and family! Better than shaving!

Don't buy it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had laser epilation, so I bought this to just maintain the really thin hair I have.
It doesn't work.
I have to swipe it 3, 4 times at the same place in order to get the job done, but still are also several hairs left.

Hair Remover King!

I had the pleasure of receiving a free Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator to try out and I must say I`m quite impressed. I love everything about this Philips epilator; its extremely easy to use, fits nicely into your hands, but most importantly it does exactly what it`s supposed to do, remove hair. I shaved my legs first, in the dry form. And let me tell you it`s not painful at all and it took me less than 20 minutes to do both legs. I like the fact I can now shave in and out of the shower. I shaved my arms next and it was a breeze, left my skin super smooth and I applied some aloe to my arms and legs. I knew if it worked in the dry form it would excel in the wet form and it certainly worked to perfection. After shaving my bikini area I`m thrilled to say I will not be paying for waxing`s anymore!!! The attachments are easy to use and can definitely help remove all those unwanted hairs. One other big plus is the lighting on the epilator it really helps you see hair that you might miss otherwise. I highly recommend this product.

Removes hair but can be painful

Overall this product was good. I received this item in return for my honest review and will say it does the job but has a few flaws. Initially when I used the epilator I tried on my legs on dry skin and it was so painful. It felt s if you are plucking the hair off your legs with tweezers. However After you use for a few minutes the pain does go away or maybe your skin is so desensitized it doesnt bother you anymore. The one flaw I noticed is that it does not grab short hair at all no matter how many passes over your leg. I also tried this on my armpits and it initially felt more painful than when I did my legs. However I did like this product better on my armpits vs shaving because I did not develop a rash after so the pain was worth it. In regards to the attachments some of them are not even necessary, well they were really no use for me. Of I had to grade this I would give it a solid B.It does what it says it does
Pros: ease of use, can be used wet or dry
Cons: painful, hard to use on armpits

Mixed Bag of Great and Not So Great

My current epilator is about 15 years old, so I was excited to try Philips Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. At first glance, it looks to be a high quality product. Unfortunately, I have mixed feeling about its actual performance. While this epilator does many things well, it fails at its primary function – hair removal.
Pros:
-The shape and size of the unit is great. It`s lightweight, reasonably quiet, and easy to use.

-The battery life is really good, and it`s easier to use an epilator when not tethered to an electrical outlet.
-The shaving and trimming heads are fantastic. An all-in-one product like this reduces the need for multiple products fighting for space in my bathroom.
-Since you can get the product wet, it`s extremely easy to keep clean.
-Initially I thought the light was an unnecessary gimmick, but it was actually pretty useful to see where hairs were missed...and there were a lot.
Cons:
-The epilator head is VERY hit and miss. I had to go over the same spot again and again, and hairs still remained (especially under the arms). Eventually, I just gave up and tweezed them. My old epilator (which works great) has metal rectangular tweezers, whereas the new one has ceramic discs. Perhaps the ceramic material or the disc shape is the culprit for the poor results?
-The epilator head is VERY hit and miss. I had to go over the same spot again and again, and hairs still remained (especially under the arms). Eventually, I just gave up and tweezed them. My old epilator (which works great) has metal rectangular tweezers, whereas the new one has ceramic discs. Perhaps the ceramic material or the disc shape is the culprit for the poor results?
-The caps seem unnecessary or redundant (the facial and delicate area caps are very similar). Perhaps they are more useful for someone new to epilating, but I found it easier to just take the caps off.
While the Philips epilator is sleek and has lots of bells and whistles, my clunky old epilator does a much better job at hair removal (and at half the time). I will hold onto the product because of the shaver and trimmer functions, but I won`t use it for epilating until my old one hits the fence.
Pros: lightweight & easy to hold, rechargeable battery, shaving & trimming heads
Cons: epilator misses a lot of hair

This product is convenient

I received this free sample of the Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator in exchange for agreeing to write a review. I am a daily shaver. Everyday in the shower I shave my underarms and legs it has become a part of my routine and is done fast. So, trying this epilator was something different to me. I read the instructions, which were clear and for the most part easy to understand. I was excited to try this product and was hoping for an addition to my shaving routine that would possibly simplify what I already do. I am not sure an epilator is for me.
I would rate this product as “Good” because it does come with a lot of attachments, is a brand I trust, and I feel that the more I use it the easier it will be for me to use and the less painful it will be.
Pros: i liked the shaving heads and attachments, i like the carrying pouch makes it convenient, the battery charge lasts a long time, can use on wet or dry skin
Cons: it is painful again i am used to shaving, it doesn't leave my skin as smooth as i like, i feel i to pass over areas a few times
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received a free sample of this epilator to review. I was very surprised at how well it worked! It really gets the hair by the root with minimal pain involved. The product flowed smoothly and worked well both on wet and dry skin. It is not very heavy or bulky and the charge holds for a long time. I would defiantly recommend trying this product.
Pros: very minimal pain involved!

Lightweight, fast, but it doesn't do the job

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I have been an epilator user for years and I love all the benefits of using epilators,specially because I have sensitive skin. At this point it doesn`t hurt me and I don`t have any ingrown hairs, however, sometimes it is a problem at the beginning, but if you keep consistently using it, eventually you won`t have any more ingrown hairs and it won`t hurt at all.This product has a great light, it really helps to see the hair on the skin. It charges very quickly and the battery lasts a lot, which is very convenient. I love the fact that it can be used in dry or wet skin, so I can use it while showering and it also can be cleaned quickly under the shower. Also, this epilator is really fast, which is great.
It comes with different attachments, that allow to epilate, trimming or shaving which makes it even more convenient.
The epilator is easy to use, however the attachments for the epilators are not very easy to put on the epilator`s head, they are very uncomfortable and I honestly didn`t find a difference. The massage cap is okay, but the skin stretcher is the most comfortable one, it actually sticks to the skin and falls out. It is just not good. I saw better results when I used it with nothing.
