I received a free sample of the philips epilator in exchange for my review/thoughts on the product. Overall i liked the epilator, it was easy to use and get the hang of. Packaging was nice and appealing. Product looked clean, interesting, and pretty self explanatory.

Great Epilator

I received a free sample of this Epilator. The Epilator works great. I did both of my legs (over the span of 2-3 hours with many breaks!) and it pulled out 99% of the hair. 1% of it was `cut` but I called those stubborn hairs and it only required going over it again with the epilator to get the hair out. I love this machine. It is nice to hold in the hand, charges fast, and does a great job.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received a free sample in exchange for agreeing to write a review. This is my unbiased review. I LOVE this product! I was surprised by its functionality, beautiful design and practicality. I enjoyed the easy use of this multi functional product, can use wet or dry. I would definitely recommend this product because of its ease of use.
Pros: easy ti use, practical, can use wet/dry, close shave

Superior to others I have used!

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The product came nicely packaged and the instructions were easy to follow and thorough. The instructions provided information on cleaning the unit after use; however, there were no instructions explaining the accessories which came with the unit. The unit needs to be charged before you can use it, and the charging time was fast (less than 2 hours). The unit is cordless and stays charged for many uses, which is super convenient.
The overall design of the epilator is very appealing, doesn`t weight very much and fit nicely in my hand. It was easy to operate and the results were great! I used it on my legs, arms and face, both wet and dry. In both instances, I had no irritation or redness post-use. The epilator has two speeds, and I found it worked best on the higher speed when my skin was wet, and on the lower speed when my skin was dry. The higher speed is rather noisy, and is quite powerful so there is a lot of vibration which takes some getting used to initially (this is the same sensation I had when I started to use an electric toothbrush for the first few times). The shaver head removes longer hairs, while the trimmer removes the short thin facial hairs. The unit also has a built-in light, which I found very useful.
I would definitely recommend this product. When it comes to hair removal, it is superior to other products I have used in the past. Fast, neat and less painful than waxing.
Pros: removed long and short hair with ease, cordless and versatile (use wet or dry)
Cons: no instruction on how to use accessories

Clean shave

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I am very happy to report that this product does the job. It did hurt the first time but after my third use, the pain was minimal. I received a clean leg shave. I also moisturized right after, and did not get that stinging that I do after I use a razor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Design Poor Results

I received a free sample of the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
The Epilator exceeded my expectations in the design of the product. I love all of the attachments and the slim design. The design was easy to grip and fit well in my hand. After using the epilator there was minimal redness on my legs and minimal discomfort.
The downside to my experience with this product is that it was not as effective as I expected in regards to removing unwanted hair. After numerous tries with the epilator, I was disappointed to still find the presence of hair. I would recommend this product if you want a quick `shave` but in my opinion this product does not replace the razor.
Pros: great design
Cons: poor results
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's awesome but a little heavy and slippery

I received the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator as a free sample to use and review, so here goes! I am accustomed to epilating so I wasn`t afraid to use it. I let my 10 chin hairs grow to about an inch in length and PSAE snatched every hair. I broke a few rules such as I epilated my dry face and that did cause a couple small ingrown hairs or raised bumps, but treating my face afterward with apple cider vinegar took the bumps away in seconds. I wanted to test this baby under less than ideal circumstances and it met my standards. Other than the clipper attachment and cleaning brush, I find the accessories kind of useless. The clippers can cut hair longer (in your private region) than suggested in the manual but be warned those hairs will get really caught up in there but are easy to clean. It charges up quickly. I like the storage bag it comes with. It is very loud, as with most epilators, so don`t expect a romantic hair removal experience.
Pros: powerful., less painful than others i've used in past, removes hair, left the epilated skin feeling softer
Cons: heavy., kind of slippery, very loud
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received the Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry epilator as a free sample to review. It definitely takes a few times to get used to the pain, but it`s worth it! I felt like it removed hair on my face, underarms, and bikini area very well. It`s great to use in the shower and it charges quickly.
Pros: removed hair
Cons: hurts slightly
I would recommend this to a friend!
