I received the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator to try out and give a review on whether good or bad. When I received it in the mail it was nicely packaged with different attachments for different areas. They included instructions that were just basic instructions. They did help but it being the first time I had ever used a product like this I wished they were more detailed. It also included instructions for items that weren’t included and those could have been left off.
Once I plugged in my Epilator it didn’t take long to charge and it has held a very good charge. The item itself has two settings that work perfect for any shave! I have used this several times now for different parts of my body and it is amazing how long it takes for hair to actually come back. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!!

Pros: gets rid of hair for long periods of time
Cons: doesn’t feel great but hey beauty isn’t painless

Pretty tool to make you feel pretty

I received this as a free sample for my review and it saved me a trip to the store. It starts with very nice presentation in a nice package. The epilator is light and pretty..it's a bit painful as it does what states, removes hair from the root. It doesn't get the fine hair areas as well. But if you want a break from shaving this is your new tool.
Pros: packaged like jewelry, gets rid of hair
Cons: didn't get the hair on my mole

I received a sample to try and write a review about it. I have used in for several days on the face area, arms and legs. I did not work well as it did not remove most of the hair. I felt it removing some but leaving a lot even after several tries. I could tell it was removing some as it was painful and I felt it pulling. I personally would not recommend the product as it did not work well for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received a free sample of this Philips Epilator to use in exchange for my personal review of what I thought of the product. At first I was leery because I have owned electric shavers in the past and did not like them because they did not shave very close, but was excited to give this one a try.
The shaver head works very well, and the overall look and feel of the product was very appealing. It is not heavy or clunky. The light on the end is an added bonus and helps see missed shaved areas. I like that it can be used in wet or dry, I favored wet because it seemed to work better for me. The product charges pretty quickly and I can shave without having to recharge the battery. The assembly is extremely easy, and there is a nice white pouch included to hold the Epilator, attachments, and cleaning brush. Previously, I have never used an Epilator head, and will probably not use this one very much because it hurts, feels like my hairs are being plucked out of my skin, reminds me of plucking eyebrows...ouch! It does work better when wet though.
The instructions were adequate, listed more attachments than what I had and pretty small print. But I really did not need the instructions because the unit is very easy to use and figure out without instructions.
I think that it would be great if there was a stand that came with it so I could stand it up on my vanity while charging. I would probably keep it there in plain view because the colors are very appealing, and it would not take up much space at all.
Overall, I would buy this for myself or as a gift. I would warn the person using it that it does hurt when using the Epilator head, but from what I was told by my friends, that is to be expected, and all Epilators feel that way.

Am a big fan of epilation. It is so convinient and such a time saver. Not only I get my job done in one sitting, I don’t need a touch up either for 2 whole days. I say that because I do grow hair quickly. I was scepticle about getting bumps on my skin but I was pleasantly surprised and had no bumps at all. I followed the exact directions on how to operate this and also glided it in all directions. Actually, I think you can totally do that as long as you are comfortable. It glides ever so gently and leaves your skin sateeny. I will totally recommend this product just based on convenience of its use and after results. It comes with a travel pouch that keeps it discreet and portable. The sound is kinda like operating an electric tool. The light is such a smart addition and bright too, it lets see even in the dimmest lights. The shape is so sleek to hold and the weight is perfect for the ease of maneuvering on your body.
I think this is my new go to beauty tool which will travel with me everywhere.

Overall I enjoyed using this product. The design is great, it fits nicely in your hand and is easy to use. It will pack up great and be very convenient for travel. The epilator has a built in light that comes in very handy for harder to see places. Being able to use it wet or dry is also an amazing feature. It can be used in the shower or really quick before heading out. It gives a nice, smooth shave. When running, it is a little loud. The epilator is rechargeable so it does not require batteries- although when the unit is charging it cannot be used. A full charge took about 1.5-2 hours. It has 6 accessories which were all easy to assemble and change. My first couple uses were a little painful, especially in the more sensitive areas (bikini, lip) but definitely got less painful as I kept using it. A little redness right after but lotion helped a lot! I would recommend starting out on the lower of the two speeds in the beginning. I am glad I tried this product and am excited to continue using it!
Pros: built in light, rechargeable - no batteries!, 2 speeds
Cons: can’t use while charging, loud

Easy to use and effective

I received this item in exchange for my unbiased opinion. When you use it, it hurts at first, but is not unbearable and the more you do it, the less it hurts. As a woman in my forties I'm always searching for good quality beauty products. As far as hair removal goes I've tried it all. Shaving left me with nicks, bumps and ingrowns.Hence, I've been waxing for a long time. And then I tried this. I love this product! Compared to waxing it was less painful to me. It pulled out all the hairs and was mess free and easy. Plus no waiting for hair to grow back between waxes. From someone whose tried many hair removal methods, this one is amazing. It's comes with attachments for different parts of the body. And clear instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This product is of high quality construction. It is very durable and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
The instructions were very easy to read and the accessories were amazing. They allowed for different use for different areas of the body. I liked that you can use it wet or dry. This made it very versatile.
It came with a charger that was very easy to use and charged rapidly. The charge lasted longer than stated in the instructions which was very useful as it allowed ample time for larger body areas such as the legs.
The product exceeded my expectations and is a drastic improvement from the Epilators I have used in the past with its ease of use, amazing results and clear instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!
