This product has many great features.

I received this free sample of phillips satinelle advanced epilator to review overall, I love the shape of the handle which makes it easy to handle over diffrent areas of the body. I really like the light at the head of the epilator and shaver attachments make it better to see the hairs. The attachments change out very easy and goes back on just as easy. I would definitely recommend this product you can get 5 diffrent machines in one the wet and dry feature is great too.
Pros: lighted, wet n dry, easy interchange

Works as expected

I received this product as a sample to review. It charged up well and worked exactly as designed. It does an excellent job of removing the hair from my legs and arms. But using it anywhere else, the face or bikini area. my skin is far too sensitive and I found it to be painful. I like the regular type shaver attachment and used that on my underarms. It works exactly as expected.
Pros: removes hair and legs stayed smooth for a week+
Cons: hurts in delicate areas

I`ll just start by mentioning, that I received this product in exchange for this review..that said, this product is AMAZING!
I say that because I have a competitors product that Ive been using for about 2 years and that one HURTS overtime I use it. Anyway, here are the PROS:
It has this built in light, AWSOME and so helpful!!
Has a few speed options, great!
Its rechargeable ( my other is corded)
Hardly any pain ( I was so surprised, asI said I was used to my other )
Oh , did I mention its WET or DRY, so cool..love it!
Lastly, it mentioned after usage to cool irritated skin with lotion..I did that in some areas but my skin really didn`t get any redness...Overall , I found this to be a great product, even if you have sensitive skin. I used the product on my face , some places on my arms and my legs and bikini area.
The only CON I could ( foresee )
The instructions say it holds about a 40 min charge ( now, I never used it more than about 20-30 min ) so I don`t know if that were true... But on the upside of that this product gets a full change in about 90 minutes!

This product works better than any other shaving method

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I really like that I can use this wet or dry. I have tried both but prefer dry because I like taking my time using it and don't want to waste water in the process. It works well in both situations though. I also like that it has a light so I can see any hair that I may have missed. Lastly, I like that it is cordless so I can use it anywhere without having to be concerned about a short cord.
The Epilator is similar to a cordless, rechargeable razor that I own because that, too, I can use anywhere, but the Epilator provides long lasting hair removal results, no stubs and leaves my skin feeling softer and smoother.
The only thing that I would improve about the Epilator is the 40 minutes of cordless use. I would like to see that be a bit longer because, as indicated prior, I really like to take my time with the usage, and I also have a feeling someone else in my household is going to take a liking to it.
Overall, I love the product. It is a much better way to remove hair than waxing and shaving and it is a lot less painful than waxing, especially if you use the appropriate attachments. The pain is almost non-existent. There is no mess like with waxing either, and the unit is easily cleaned by just running it under water. This is the perfect tool with summer around the corner. It doesn't irritate my skin like waxing, and I don't have razor stubble, just soft and smooth sexy legs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Upon placing the order for the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator, I was super exicted to get started on hair removal for an upcoming beach vacation. I also have some pesky hairs on my chin that I tirelessly pluck. Hair removal is a necessary part of my routine. Anything that makes it easier is certainly worth an attempt. I worked in the aesthetic/cosmetic medical office for years. Part of our services was laser hair removal. Being very fair skinned with blonde hair, I was not the top candidate for laser hair removal. I still tried it on my legs, underarms, chin and a some more private areas, but the results were not lasting nor permanent. The epilator is something anyone can use regardless of hair color. You must let your hair grow about a week to be of appropriate length. You must understand how an epilator works. They are, in fact, electronic tweezers used to remove unwanted hair from legs, underarms, arms, bikini area or from the face. They work the same way waxing or tweezing does, by plucking away hairs from the roots. So will it hurt? Probably yes. How much depends on your pain tolerance. The Philips Satinelle works just as expected. Very easy to remove from box and get started. Make sure you do the exfoliation step prior to using. I believe this cut down on irritation for me. 6 attachments are offered to cater to your defined area. Choose your head and snap it in place and you are ready to use. Make sure you are holding the device at a 90 degree angle for the head to most effective. I think the most important tip is to use this device slowly. Rushing it will not produce the results you seek. I prefer this product during dry use. I believe you get a closer, long lasting result with dry use. It is less painful during wet use but treatment took longer. The battery lasts about 35 minutes. I took about 30 minutes to do one leg so I charged and did the other. The process does hurt but more hairs are removed more quickly instead of plucking and cringing one hair at a time.
My experience with this product was very effective but time consuming. The effects do last longer than a shaving but you will need to it again as it is not a permanent result. I believe you need to know what to expect from a product and you will not be disappointed. I received this product to test for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I do believe that the product yields very positive results but you must invest the time. All hair removal hurts but this is a less invasive option than some others and surely more cost effective.
Pros: longer lasting than shaving, anyone can use
Cons: time of treatment

Great design

I received a free sample in exchange for agreeing to write a review. When I received the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator Rechargeable I was impressed with the design of it. It's pretty, small enough to fit comfortably in your hand and the control buttons are easy to maneuver. The epilation process was easy and the pain was bearable. It just feels like you're being tweezed. I tried it both wet and dry and believe that it's less pain while wet. I also like the smoothness it leaves after the process. However, on certain areas of my body that may not be flat (pelvic region, underarms, shin area) there's been hair left that I've had to use a razor to remove. Overall I would recommend the product, but just be aware that you may have to use a razor after epilation if you have coarse hair for a few weeks until the hair begins to come in thinner.

Does the job, well!

I received the Phillips Satinelle in exchange for agreeing to write a review, but after using it, I would definitely have purchased it. I`ve used a few different epilators in the past but this one is at the top of the list for me. One of the really simple things that made a world of difference for me was the handle. It narrowed, and was a little longer than others that I have purchased, it was much easier to grip, and I felt like I had better control, especially in harder to epilate areas, like the underarms. This was also the first time I have used a wet/dry vs dry epilator. I found that I liked using that feature. After exfoliating in the shower under warm water and a bit of steam, it was pretty much pain free in areas that are usually very sensitive. I will say that I do think it works better overall dry, but I will probably continue to use the wet feature on sensitive spots. The attachment I made the most use of was the facial attachment. I had a few stray very light hairs on my face, and it removed them very easily. I did feel like I had quite a bit of redness afterwards, but this could also be because it`s been a while since I have used one. Overall, I am pleased with the results, and I will continue to use weekly so I can have smoother legs before summer !
Pros: easy to handle and control, less pain than with past epilators
Cons: wet feature did not work as well as dry for me

The product is fair in productivity

I received a free sample for agreeing to review the product. The product was okay. Didn`t not really catch the small fine hairs. The product overall is no different from using an average razor. The only difference is its electric power based. I will continue to use the product to see if it will give me better results than waxing.
Pros: its small and compact
Cons: it doesn't get all the fine hairs
