Great product

I received this product as a free sample to try and review. This epilator works best after a weeks worth of growth about five days it was easy to assemble and it stung a little when using but it wasn't painful. It left my skin smooth I used it on my underarms, legs and bikini area and it left my skin smooth and hair free. I loved the option of wet or dry. I will defintiley be using this weekly.
Pros: wet/dry and attachments

Good product, good results

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I really liked the design on the epilator. It fits well on my hand and does not slip away when wet, which has happened in the past with a similar product I bought. I tried the epilator on my face, legs and arms, as well as my back. Assembly with attachments was some how difficult the first time. I found the instructions to be way too long and not so clear (what get do you get the attachments on?). I figured it out after trying by myself several times. The attachments also feel not too stable, loose, although they do not dettached while in use.
Epilator feels rough when used dry, but quite comfortable if using while in the shower. i felt that the razor does not pull all the hair if not use repeateadly on the same area. some hair (short) was left behind.
I used the epilator in the same way on my back, I am very satisfied with the results. the hair was short and fine, and it worked well for this purpose.
Used epilator on my arms while dry. It pulled quite a bit, and felt uncomfortable at beginning but not intolerable. Holding the skin tight is not possible, and that may be a reason for the discomfort. I will use it again in the shower.
I used the face attachment to get rid of my upper lip and chin hair. I loved it!. The results were excellent, I would say better that the results obtained with frequent waxing and I did not have to remove any hair manually.

This product is disappointing

I recieved this Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator Rechargeable (6 accessories - BRE635/50) as a free sample.
I was unhappy with this epilator. I had difficulty getting the hair to come off of my legs. I purposly let my leg hair grow for a week to have a large amount that would need to come off. It would not grab on and remove the hairs. It only removed a few hairs.I used it on my arm pit hair and it would not remove them either. It was very hard to gt any of the hairs off of my ankle ara.
It is very time consuming for very minimal results

Better than Shaving

One of the best beauty tools I have, so versatile. I did receive this item for free in exchange for my honest review. Never thought I would use an epilator but this one did not give me any pain, just felt like some pinches here and there. It left my skin super smooth and it’s been more than a week that I did not see new hair. The reason for the low pain is the ceramic disks. After a few weeks of using this on my legs, maybe once a week, I could get away with using it once a month. Within 15-20min I was done and leg was super smooth yeah little redness was there for 3-4hrs and it goes next day. The battery holds the charge well, and the various adapters are useful I recommend using this product either in the shower as the water numbs you and there is no hairy mess afterwards. The first time you use it is the worst because you are essentially ripping out ALL of your hair, but the hair grows back at different speeds so you are never again uprooting as many as in the first go. I will never go back to shaving.

I received the Phillips Satinelle Advanced Epilator (BRE635/50) for feee in exchange for my review. I have used epilators in the past and sometimes they can be painful to use. In addition they don’t always get all of the hair. My experience with this one has been fantastic! It was not painful at all and it quickly removed all of the hair. It was easy to use and the light made it easy to see ant missed hairs quickly and easily. I would highly recommend this product to both new and experienced epilator users!
Pros: pain free, easy to use, comfortable to hold

Phillips sent me a free epilator in exchange for an honest review of the product.. This epilator is much less painful than i thought it would be. I used it on my legs and bikini area and it worked much better on my legs. My legs were dry when i used it and the pain was totally bearable. Didn’t have to go over the same area too many times and skin wasn’t irritated at all. Now the bikini area the hair is a bit coarse so the epilator didn’t grasp the hairs like it should have. Had to go over many times and still didn’t get them like it should’ve. I think it’s better on fine hair than coarse. Compared to waxing the epilator is less painful and better on your skin. I’d definitely recommend this product.

Great product for all of your hair removal needs

I used the Philips Satinelle Advanced Epilator for the past week to remove hair from my underarms, legs, bikini area and upper lip. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
It was fairly straightforward to use the epilator for the first time. It comes with a charging cord and when the charging light stays solid and stops blinking it is fully charged.
Assembly is simple, just snap on the desired head, epilator or shaver. It is easy to hold and comfortable in your hand while you are using. The epilator head is a nice size width that provides great coverage for areas like your legs, arms, etc. A great feature is the adjustable speeds. This comes with 2 speeds which I utilized. You can easily switch between the two speeds with the touch of the power button. On an area like my legs, I used the higher speed.
Another great feature is the epilator comes with a number of caps that make epilating more effective and precise in other areas, like the face, bikini and underarms.
To epilate my upper lip, I put on the facial cap that only exposes a smaller area of the head. This allows you to be more precise with this area and not epilate unneeded areas. On more sensitive areas, like my upper lip, I would use the lower speed. For my bikini and underarms area, I used the delicate area cap.
The instructions look lengthy and a bit intimidating but are labeled in sections so it is easy to refer to for specific info: charging, cleaning, epilating, etc. For first time users, it might be helpful if the individual caps were labeled for easier identification.
My favorite feature is the fact that the product is cordless, rechargeable and can be used either wet or dry. I use it in the shower and also out of the shower depending on my needs. And I can clean the product while I am in the shower because the head is cleaned under running water while the device is on.
Another great feature is the light near the head of the device which makes seeing hard to reach areas a bit easier.
The epilator is a little noisy and takes some getting used to the feel on your skin if you have never epilated or waxed before. It really isn’t painful. This epilator did a better job of removing my hairs than previous epilators that I have tried that were just facial epilators. It removed my hairs, caused negligible irritation, really no irritation where my other epilator did.
This epilator is a fabulous replacement and exceeded my expectations because it replaces a number of different devices I currently use for different areas on my body for hair removal. And it works better and more effectively than these products. My skin is not irritated. My hair takes longer to grow back, 4 days as compared to 2 days. It does a better job of getting the hair out by its root. Now I only need this one product to take care of all of my hair removal needs.

First of all, I should mention that I received this product for free in order to review. At first glance it looks like a really good epilator and I was excited about the wet/dry feature. As someone who has a lot of facial hair, I`m always looking for the next best thing to keep my face hair free. However, I was a bit disappointed with this product. Although my hairs weren`t extremely long, they were long enough where they should have been able to be removed. This product could not remove it, it was awkward to hold and use and it hurt like crazy. I`ve had other epilators and I`ve had my fair share of waxing, but this one hurt a whole lot. It was probably b/c the attachment they sent for your face, with it on, it couldn`t reach the hairs so I had to take it off to use it. All in all, I really did not like this epilator and will be going back to my other one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
