Great product that is easy to use!

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I found that this epilator was much less cumbersome and far less scary than I anticipated! Upon receiving the product I opened the box and thoroughly read the easy-to-follow instructions to make sure I was very clear on how it might need to be assesmbled and the best way to use the epilator. As a middle aged woman, I remember the torturous epilators from the 1990s and this was nothing like that at all. I was a bit nervous it would hurt, and the first few days I used it there was some pain, but overall was very tolerable. I would compare it to having my eyebrows waxed- a small sting, but overall not bad. It certainly gets easier to use and less painful over time. The product itself was high quality and included in the box was everything one would need to remove every hair anywhere on the body. It's very obvious the quality of the epilator is one that is built to last.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received the epilator as a free sample in turn for my unbiased review. Although I have not used an epilator prior to this one (so I don`t have anything to compare to), I found this to be very painful when using on the very fine peach fuzz on my face. However, when I used it on my legs (after showering) it wasn`t as painful as on my face. It, supposedly, is less painful if used during the shower. I have yet to try that. The instructions were long but not very clear. I wish it had a wider head so that it would cover a larger area at once.
I love the fact that the epilator is cordless and rechargeable. I also like the fact that you can use it wet or dry. It is very easy to clean and comes with a nice little pouch to hold the device as well as the cord and attachments. Those are the features that would stand out amongst other epilators.
Pros: cordless, rechargeable, wet & dry usage
Cons: painful

Beautiful product

To start I would like to note that I was given a free product in exchange for an honest review.
I loved the design of the product and how easy it was to switch between accessories. When I saw the electric razor attachment I was filled with nostalgia of my first razor when I was in middle school. I used the product in the bath on my arms as I was intrigued that it could be used wet. It seemed to trim the hair rather than remove it. Leaving me a little disappointed with the results and time it took to actually get the hair removed. I do have very coarse hair which could be why I had issues with removal.
I used the epilator attachment on my legs in the bath as well. I found it to work pretty well, but my hair was a little longer than suggested so I had some issues with that. I think if my hair was that the right length it would work great. I was satisfied with the results of the epilator despite my mistake of over growing.
Overall, I like this product. I think it would work best for someone with less coarse hair, but I will try the epilator again when my hair is at the right length. I also like that you can attach face cleansing products as well.
Pros: wet and dry, easy to use, beautiful design, multi-use attachments
Cons: long hair, course hair

Good Quality -- needs practice for best results

I received a sample of this product to test at home. The packaging was nice, and I loved that the product included many different parts for different usese. However, I wasn't sure when or how to use each different piece of the product. I have used epilators before, so I wasn't surprised by the pain. I think anyone using one for the first time should expect discomfort - you are literally ripping hair out, but this does get easier with more use. I like that the product lights up - very good for seeing hard to reach places.
Results: not sure if it really did it for me. My legs were never fully smooth. It could be because I didn't have the patience to go slowly, or I didn't run over each leg enough, but nonetheless, I was not completely hairless. I think I'll be more successful with practice. Overall nicely packaged and good quality.

Long lasting results

Overall good quality hair removal product. It worked well with long lasting results. Stung slightly because my hairs were a little long. I will never shave with razors again. I was given this product to test.
Pros: long lasting results
Cons: slightly painful

Lovely product

I received the Philips Satinelle advanced epilator with 6 accessories as a free sample to review. Overall I found the epilator a good tool for the removal of hair. It can be used both wet & dry which I found to be very useful although there was some mild irritation when using it dry, the irritation didn’t last longer than half an hr.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received a free sample of this epilator. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It was more convenient than I would have guessed. It helps that you can use it in the shower. Leg hair just vanished as I used it

Very good overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this device for free in exchange for the following review. Overall this epilator did a wonderful job. I did follow the instructions exactly and it completely removed all of the hair on areas of my body that the skin was very taught (lower legs and lower arms). It removed most of the hair on my upper legs as long as I held the skin taught. My upper legs was considerably more uncomfortable than my lower legs. The head of the device was much too large for my underarms to be effective. There is a learning curve but following the very clear instructions made it much easier. The epilator is well made and the charge lasted for over 30 minutes. I owned another unit and it only lasted 15 minutes per charge. The epilator is very light and fits well in your hand making it easy to effectively use the device. Overall very satisfied.
Pros: great charge time, ergonomic, great instructions for new users
Cons: oversized head too large for underarms
