I love this and my newborn loves it which makes me happy, however when rocking it makes a super loud cranking noise. I’m unsure if this or normal or this is defective but it is an awful noise!

Could be better

The music feature stopped working a month and a half of having this item. The motor makes funny buzzing sounds and the speeds don't work properly. Really disappointed with this considering it's high ticketed price tag

Shuts off

I bought this because my son loved the one at the hospital.. however, half the time it turns on then shuts right back off. Or it will swing for a little bit then turn off on its own.. why spend that amount of money for something that works half of the time

Clunky movements

It's noisy and clunky with movements no smooth at all unless no wt in it. Wish it would lay parallel for newborn.

The MamaRoo® Multi-Motion Baby Swing reclines nearly flat.
The MamaRoo® is not approved for any type of sleep.
Since it is neither a flat surface (there is always a slight recline) or a firm surface, as recommended by pediatricians, it is not safe for any type of sleep. If your baby falls asleep while in the MamaRoo Swing, we recommend moving them to a firm, flat sleeping surface like a bassinet, playard or crib.
The swing should not be loud or clunky, so please reach out to success@4moms.com so that we can begin a warranty claim for you.

So not worth it

My daughter just turned 4 months old....the for MOMS swing I bought her is now not working. It'll turn on and start then it's like it's struggling to go into motion and stay that way. I can't return this or afford any kind of a new swi ng!
