Doesn’t rock for long

First time using it and it only rocks for about two minutes then stops. Waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Expensive and malfunctions frequently! The track gets stuck all the time and the swing becomes very jerky and has even woke my baby instead of soothing him! The speeds don't seem to be different at all for having 5 options there seems to be no difference to me. Not to mention the cord comes out too easily from the base. Extremely dissatisfied with this purchase.

Within a month of use my rockaRoo stopped working. I contacted customer service through an e-mail and they replied ASAP. I informed them about the issue I was having and they immediately send a replacement.Excellent Customer Service! My baby loves his rockaRoo and loves staring at the removable toy balls. I'm so glad I bought this product!

My daughter loves her swing and the balls keep her entertainment. I'll definietly refer it to a friend and others. I'm inlove with all my 4moms product !

Didn't Work Correctly from Time of (New) Purchase

We were so happy with the 4moms mamaRoo that we subsequently (within ~1 month) bought the rockaRoo, infant bath, and breeze PLUS playard. Unfortunately, the rockaRoo has not performed as expected since purchase (purchased new). The rocking motion is not fluid at any level and it takes several moments to start the motion. Once started, after a couple of minutes (~2) the unit jerks, flashes, then turns off. We were hoping for a more reliable product from 4moms, this was a disappointment. Given two stars because we never used the warranty, our error.
More detail - there were no obstructions while in use; we used a weighted test baby to troubleshoot above mentioned issues. My (engineer) husband took the top plastic piece off and confirmed that the seat rocks well on its own and the rope pulley mechanism is intact; however, the motor is pulling the ropes at the wrong time in the cycle (probably a control loop calibration problem).

I won a rockaroo in a contest and so happy I did. We love it and it's so light weight. I love that you can move with your hand without plugging it in for the times constant motion isn't needed. I did end up buying the infant insert.....it's so much nicer for newborns.
