My son is 3 months old and i have both the mamaroo and the rockaroo both have their issues but this item is unsafe for babies especially when they start to move around. I went to put the baby down on it to swing for a while and the baby stretched and put his legs on the rockaroo and the swing came flying forward and hit the baby in the head. After almost 30 minutes of the baby crying and me freaking out i decided that unless they put out a safety so the swing doesnt fly forward i will never use this product again beware this can happen to anyone especially since babies are unpredictable you know cause they cant talk.
I will never recommend this to anyone.

Love this rockaRoo so much. It fits in our little apartment and does its job beautifully. It's design is just so brilliant- as a prior nanny, I had used so many different swings/bouncers and this is the first I feel that combines the concepts of all of them with a trim, classy design. Would definitely recommend!

I've had this for 1 year and just recently had a son, so this was my go too! I loved it. I put my son in it and it started jerking!!! Thankfully he was strapped in he would have fallen out! It just jerks and then shuts off! I would think it would last longer than year. I'm so upset I can't use it anymore :(

Worth your money

This swing is a lifesaver! It takes up half the space of the traditional swing I had for my first child and makes hardly any noise. It's easy to put together and is cute to look at too. My little one loves this. The only down side is that the mobile doesn't spin, but other than that we are in love.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buy the Mamaroo instead

I recently decided to purchase the Rockaroo for my baby that was due at the end of April. After reading the reviews I decided it was a better option than the mamaroo since it was suppose to be a more traditional type of swing and I didn't think we needed all the features of the Mamaroo. However, after 2 weeks of using the Rockaroo it stop swinging completely. I contacted the customer service and they sent a replacement base immediately. They have wonderful customer service. However, now the swing part falls off frequently which scares me to put the baby in it. I am disappointed in this product and wish I had just bought the mamaroo instead. The mamaroo is built much sturdier in my opinion ( I have used my friends).

Scared to plug it in after a shortage!

I was really disappointed with this product! First, it has about 6 speed settings that are almost the same speed. Second, I unplugged it to move it to another room and as soon as I plugged it in again, the plug exploded! Black powder shot out all over my hand and it colored the plug. I was terrified as I was holding my newborn. I registered for all 4moms product and am super bummed out about this incident!
