This newborn insert makes it easy for your smaller infant to be strapped comfortably into the Mamaroo. Our baby was around 6.5 lbs when we brought him home, so this insert allowed us to use the Mamaroo right off the bat. He absolutely loves his Mamaroo!

I’m not sure how necessary the insert is since it doesn’t necessarily cradle our little one like the insert in her car seat but I think the added padding keeps her cozy while she is in the Mamaroo seat. It’s constructed of solid materials and seems to be well crafted so I can see it lasting for a while (possibly a second baby?). I also really enjoy the print and color. It’s a mesh material and has been easy to clean.

Super cute pattern, Very soft, plush velvety material, my Gigi loves it. I just wish it had a little more cushion for the babies back so her chin doesn’t look like it’s getting squished into her chest.
