Always Use a Whirlpool Applicance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace the first Whirlpool ice maker which had parts that rusted out and could not be repaired. We have always had Whirlpool appliances in our kitchen because they, so far, have been the best products for us.

Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the ice maker in May and had in installed in June in our pool house. We used it once or twice and it stopped making ice. We did all th things they said for technical support with no luck. It drained well most would t freeze the water. Whirlpool scheduled a service technician who came out and saw the issue with a bent element that kept the water from staying on long enough to freeze. He left and contacted technical support who advised that if the element needs to be replaced it would take two technicians but to try to clean the ice maker element and see if that will correct the issue. He returned and did just that and it started making ice again. We are pleased that it has been one week and working as designed.

Very Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quiet, also if you have a gravity drain this is the model you need. We are very happy with this icemaker. We have had 2 other brands, and they were very load. This one is amazing.
