Quieter than previous model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to replace Kenmore icemaker that was deemed too expensive to repair. This model has a replaceable filter cartridge that is easily accessible. Unit runs very quietly and provides an ample quantity of ice, much of which is clear. The door handle is flimsy and was a problem on the previous model.

I love the product, this is my 3rd

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this ice maker and the pump was making a squealing noise. When I contacted Whirlpool, service was 3 weeks out to get someone to look at it. I have another week until someone comes out. We'll see the outcome.
