Perfect ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a 15 year old whirlpool ice maker . Makes perfect 3/4 x 3/4 x1/2 inch cubes. Ice does not stick together. Mine has a gravity drain but can be equipped with pump. Also has spot for a filter but will work without one. You will want some filter in line and clean every 6-9 months and it will last.

Glad to have a functioning ice maker again

Auto shut-off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the item. Makes good ice. When I bought it, I specifically asked if it had a feature/sensor to automatically shut off when the bin was full. I was told “yes.” It does not shut off, the installer didn’t know, and the directions make no reference to it. I really don’t have time to monitor this thing daily. What say you, Whirpool?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
