Does not work at all!!

Does not work and company refuses to swap out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second ice machine from Kitchen Aid. The first one stopped working after 3.5 years. I purchased a second one over a month ago. The machine did not work from day one. I called to have it repaired. Repairman came out and spent 2,5 hours working on it. He could not get it to work. He suggested that I swap for a new one. Keep in mind this is the repairman that Kitchen Aid sent to my house. I called Kitchen Aid and was told to once again try a repair. I told them the repairman suggested swapping out for a new one. Kitchen Aid refuses to swap it out and now is putting blame on the dealer that I purchased through. I would give the product zero stars, but it will not allow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I owned this ice maker in my previous home, and it was pretty noisy. So, when I set out to buy another for my new place, I searched long and hard, then decided on this one again. I am happy to report that it is not as noisy as the first. In fact, considerably quieter, to the point that I seldom notice it. I like the way this unit is accessed for ice, I like the cubes, I like the way it is maintained, and I like that there is a substantial company behind it if I ever need service. I would give it five stars if it had clear ice…but it doesn’t. You know what…the ice is cold and always available!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If only I had done a little research, I would never spend real money on this trash. It makes more noise than anything I have ever owned. ANYTHING!. I also did not realized that I was getting baby ice cubes. When you drink anything, you have to keep your teeth closed to keep from swallowing little ice cubes. Everybody that visits my house get a lesson on this machine. I am going to throw it out in the middle of my street.

Great Ice Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first ice machine and could not be happier. It makes small ice cubes. Ice cubes never stick together in the machine Hooked up easily to my kitchen drain and refrigerator water supply. It’s constantly refreshing the ice.
