[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker is very noisy. This is the second one we have had and this one make twice as much noise as the first one. Within three months of purchase the ice maker would turn itself off. Slam the door a few times and it would start again. Repairs pending.

Ice Maker Help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The icemaker is working properly. The issue is there is something dripping inside and it is putting out possibly too much heat. We can feel the heat through the quartz countertop. The real issue is kitchenaid customer service is not very informative and not very good overall! It's like pulling teeth to get answers and information from them about the device or about getting it serviced. The ice coming out so far has been good which helps balance the lack of quality customer service. A repairman is coming this week and he already told me he has to replace a couple of parts.

Great overall quality, finish, ease of install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased from local small town dealer. Installed myself with factory installled drain oump. Replaced a lower quality under counter ice maker that failed. Tried the cheaper brand and it messed my hardwood floor up. Buy rhe kitchen aid!

Love our under-counter ice maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ice is small cubes, clear and perfect. We have an under sink water filter that we connected to the Ice maker. My only complaint is the configuration of the drain line. There needs to be more space on top of pump so kinking of drain line is at a minimum.
We also had to change the handle since it didn’t match any of our appliances. We lucked up and found a handle online from a kitchen aid trash compactor that worked perfectly.

Love this ice maker!

We had a KitchenAid ice maker in a different house so we knew this one would not disappoint. It’s very quiet when making ice and/or draining. The machine makes ice quickly which is great when you entertain. The outside is easy to keep clean too. Great ice maker!

Direct replacement of my old Jenn-Air unit - nice

Does not work right out of the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this as one of the appliance components for my brand new house I have all new appliances it's been a dream of mind to have 1 of these and it does not work right out of the box I'm still waiting on parts to arrive and they're supposed to be working on it tomorrow so it's really hard for me to give a positive review which I normally do when things are as expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pump went out on less than a year after being inst

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this during Covid and installed it in June of 2022. By May 2023 the pump went out and flooded our kitchen. Now kitchen aid says it’s no longer warrantied. I’ve seen reviews that this has been an issue. Very upset that they aren’t standing behind their product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
