Great blender very solid. I like the way the blade part sits over the base so liquids don't spill into the base area. I would have preferred a smaller size over all but the quality is great and I expect it to last a long time.

I have owned the original Breville Boss for around 5 years and it is still going strong, i don't use it everyday however when i do. Everything is just so smooth, there is no texture just smoothness, the original one came with a shorter tumbler which was a bit difficult to twist off. The taller tumbler i have not problem twisting it off the base at all. It so convenient to clean i can rinse the blade and just let it dry the tumblers i just put in the diswasher and its ready to go again. It so easy to clean compared to a regular blender. I also have the espresso machine and the hot water kettle which are over 10 years old! These are more expensive than other brands, but they are built to last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is wonderful. I like to make smoothies all the time especially in the mornings. I love my new Breville Boss blender because is very simple but high quality. Doesn't take to much space and is very fast. Very easy to use and clean. The cups are made with Tritan a strong and high quality plastic and came with portable lids. Making it easier for the rushing mornings and ready to go. Is BPA free and dishwasher safe. I like that included a book with recipes very easy to make. The book has recipes for green smoothies, smoothies bowls, protein booster and more. I'm a very happy customer and I'm sure I will use this blender for many years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great unit. Brilliant idea to have it come with a to-go cup so you can take your smoothie with you on the go. I like that it has two different cups so me and my wife can both take a smoothie to go. The motor is pretty powerful and the unit is stylish enough I can leave it on my kitchen counter.

3 years running and then it crapped out. No longer working. I even bought replacement parts thinking that would help. I never use it daily so I think it should have lasted longer. Well at least I got three years out of it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my unit for over 3 years and it's still runs like a champ...however; the tumblers have discolored but so excited that they sell the tumblers separately...I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR JUICERS WHO DRINK 1-3 EVERYDAY.

When it works its great

I love this thing when it decides to work. I get great texture and find that it handles everything I've felt like putting in so far, as long as I let it blend for the recommenced full 1 min. I generally blend oats, chocolate chips, raspberries, black berries, spinach, kale, mango, strawberries, etc. The only thing that gives me trouble are the raspberries and blackberries, the seeds don't quite get broken down all the way. The issue is that sometimes this thing will shut off after one blend and not turn back on for days, despite giving it a few minutes between blending and using a timer to not go beyond 1 min of blend time. Most recently I pulled it out of the cabinet after several days of non use and it wont turn on, I'm betting that here in a few days I will work again, but who knows. Aside from randomly shutting off for several days at a time, one of the tumbler lids broke within the first month of owning it, it got dropped in the kitchen while full of smoothie, on the bright side, it didn't pop open, but the little circular tab snapped off.

This is the best smoothie blender I have ever used. Strong and powerful and easy to get the lid on and off and to clean. Can’t believe I used a magic bullet so long and dealt with it leaking and failing. Well worth the investment. I say I love it every morning and it is quieter too so my husband is also very happy! Awesome product.
