Breaks quickly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite taking great care of my headphones and case this case broke after 13 months of ownership. The small pins that charge the earbuds have pressed down and won’t pop up therefore my headphones won’t charge. Going back to Soundsport headphones with wires that are more annoying but much more durable.

It works as advertised but it is HUGE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I came here to see if there is an alternative to the stock charging case that comes with the Bose Soundsport Free. Unfortunately there isn't. While I love the wearing comfort of the buds, they are large and their case is even larger. So large in fact, that it barely fits into a jeans pocket due to the height and leaves an ugly dent in just about any pocket.

Left bud

Hello Keith,

It's a shame that you are experiencing issues with the left bud, in this instance, we would recommend a product reset.

To reboot your headset: • Place the earbuds into the charging case • Plug the charging case into a wall outlet using a USB charger and wait 5 seconds • Unplug the USB cord from the charging case and wait 1 minute • Remove the earbuds from the case and try again

Lights not working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lights on the case do not work unless I have the case plugged in. This kind of defeats the purpose, since I dont know how much power is still available. Also when I plug the case in it is at 1 solid and 1 flashing light, 2 minutes later it has 5 solid lights. I know it didn't get a full charge that fast so I'm a little confused. I'm not sure that the case is even holding a charge at all honestly. It seems that I have to have the case plugged in for it to charge the earbuds.

Lights on the charging case don't work

The case stopped after 2 days. The lights work when it's plugged into and outlet.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your SoundSport Free portable charging case. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing difficulty with the case's charging lights.

The charging case will supply energy to the SoundSport Free earbuds when the earbuds are inserted in the case and touching the magnetic contacts. The charging case can provide up to 2 full charges for the earbuds. After this, the case will need to be charged, and this can take about 2 hours. When the case is charged, you will see 5 LED lights when the case is closed.

charging case failure after 3 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love these earbuds, i've had them for 3 months so far, however yesterday the charging case lights outside and inside have stopped working entirely, i've tried multiple usb cables, outlets, even tried to charge it with a usb connected to my computer, nothing charges this thing anymore. now i have a dead charging case and no way to charge my earbuds anymore.. does the warranty extend to the charging case? i hope so.

Excellent Sound But ....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this buds 6 months ago and have an excellent sound and there are very comfort when you are working out but the charging case its very fragile I need to buy a new one because i broke one pin of the left side and i can only use the right one so I think BOSE need to improve in that maybe that if you broke one pin the 3 more have the capacity to charge the bud.

I am delighted to hear that you love your SoundSport Free headphones! On the charging case the flashes that are shown show the level of battery that the headphones have, I have attached the information below for you:

(•○○○○ 0% - 20%)

(••○○○ 20% - 40%)

(•••○○ 40% - 60%)

(••••○ 60% - 80%)

(••••• 80% - 100%)

If you are only getting two lights flashing with 20%-40% battery then I would recommend that you call the customer care team.
