WI-FI won't pick up

I hooked the first camera up and it works fine(15 ft) The second camera is 30 ft away outside and won't pick anything up, yet when I had it in the same place inside and I got a good signal. It's hard to imagine that 6 inches makes that much of a difference. Information that would help, like the size of the camera antenna so that I could run a small cable from the camera inside to the antenna.

Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your feedback. Since this unit requires an internet connection, interruptions in the frequencies may cause issues when pairing. Although this is not common. The camera has a WiFi range up to 65 ft. If you are installing your unit outside of the range, we would recommend using a Wi-Fi extender to help strengthen your signal.

It started out alright and I became disappointed with the product as time went on. AV playback and live view is choppy. I regret buying this product. I give it a 3 star because of initial support in setting up the system and because I'm a nice guy.

When playing back your footage, are you reviewing while connected to a monitor or remotely? If remotely, are you loading the main-stream or sub-stream? This will contribute to the overall display resolutions. The settings within the recorder itself may also require adjustment.

Very Good security system

Purchased this just under three months ago. Also purchased a third camera. Easy to setup, and working extremely well. Only just the other day a Bus damaged our shop in town. The bus driver took off without leaving any details. Camera captured this beautifully, including noise of bus against building. Impressed so far. Thanks

Wifi Range Terrible

Bought this system 6 months ago but only set up recently. Very disappointed with Wifi range (added extenders with did not help). Continuously have video loss and unable to connect to live view. All worked perfectly when when initially set up close to Router.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keeps disconnecting

I bought this in August start, the signal keeps disconnecting even from the ones right next to DVR, asked for tech support creating a ticket and they said will reply in 2 weeks but still haven't received anything. I am writing this on 14 Oct. Very unhappy with product and support. Wouldn't recommend this at all and very unhappy with Swann

There are many factors that can affect wireless range such as the size and structure of your home, other wireless products within your vicinity, and possible interference from appliances. When your NVR is running in AP mode the wireless range can be up to 100ft/30m, depending on conditions, with the typical range being 50ft/15m. In Station mode, as the cameras communicate with your Wi-Fi access point, you have more flexibility on camera placement but the same wireless range applies.
