Not worth the price

This product looks adorable and works very much like other tactile stimulation products for babies. That said, the sound element aspect of the toy are barely audible and don't resemble authentic animal sounds by a long shot. You can spend a lot less for better products. Also found that by the time a baby reaches 12 months they have outgrown the fascination with the toy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased as part of a larger toy collection, given to grandson. Loves the largeness of the cube. Grows with child as he sits up and learns to crawl. Animal noises are delightful and bring a smile to an early toddler's inquisitive mind.

Obnoxious

This toy sounds obnoxious. The music is too loud and detracts from the animal sounds. I would have preferred a gentle tune for my baby and when the tune stops an animal sound. I bought this for my 6 month old grand baby. I have put it away and reintroduced it every month. My granddaughter does not like it and neither do I. It is difficult for a young child to push in at exactly the right space to activate sound. I purchased a Mozart cube for her- much better! She squealed with delight when she first saw it. Now she is almost 2 she enjoys picking out various instruments to hear how they sound individually. I taught her animal sounds the old fashioned way- saying them myself! I do not recommend this toy as is. If a new sound box could be added, maybe. The colors are bright and I like the soft cube for a baby. The handle is easy to grasp and there are flaps and tags and a ring to chew. I also like the farm theme.

Ordered as a gift. It is colorful and cute. However the sounds are a bit weird. One battery spring was missing!!! I had to jerry-rig with a pen spring cut to size in order to secure the battery. For the price, I expected a perfect product.
