Good toy minus the actual animal sounds

Our daughter likes to play with this toy a good bit. But we keep the sound box off because the animals sound like a nightmare! Especially the sheep! The sheep sounds like something from a haunted house 🫣👻
Please consider changing the animal sounds for future customers.

I have been buying Melissa and Doug toys for the last four years. Most I have been satisfied with. I bought the farmyard cube for a Christmas gift. It did nor come with batteries, fine. When I took the box out to put the batteries in I couldn't get it unscrewed. Now the cheap China screw is stripped so I can't even try. I'll be returning it to the store. What a joy drain this thing is. I hope that this company is not not going to start going cheap on us now that they have become more popular. I won't buy another toy from this company if it requires batteries. Very aggravating Melissa and Doug.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would not buy again

Bought this for my 11 month old. My baby is scared of this toy and is upset by the noises. The sounds of the animals do not really sound like the actual animal. I called and asked to exchange it since I bought it directly through melissa and doug but they won't. I won't buy from this company again.

Cute toy but no sounds...

I received this product as a gift for my son. I don't know where the person who got it for us bought it or I would have returned it or exchanged it. The toy's sounds were all dead/broken upon arrival to my home. It looked in-opened but I don't know why none of the noises worked. I tried it again several weeks later and still nothing so clearly broken on arrival. That is disappointing and I didn't want to tell the person who bought it for us because I didn't want them to feel bad since it was either the manufacturer's defect, someone bought it, used it, returned it, or it was played with in store enough times that the noises stopped working. Otherwise it is cute and the touch sensory stuff is fun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
