I have had this tv for about 2 and a half years. For the most part it's a great tv but I've had minor issues related to updates. It also has minor glitches like: not connecting to Netflix, or Hulu, occasionally I'll select Netflix and the entire tv will turn off. Vizio is not helpful when I have reached out for issues. Any problems you have Google will more helpful than their trouble shooting department.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my Vizio smart Tv for about a year its the best love the fact that the apps are already installed on the tv and casting is so easy to do.

Great features and extras

I like the smart cast option and the extra viewing options you guys make available, I don’t have alit of extra money at the moment I’m sure a lot of Americans fit that category so it’s nice to have something to watch without a cable bill.
