Good size, bad machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] New machine rusted inside door and will not stop beeping, even after I flip the breaker. Haven’t been able to use it because I cannot change any of the settings. Even the clock doesn’t change time. The size is nice for small space, but I’d rather avoid cost of a service call and throw it out to install cabinets.

Washing: great. Drying: not so great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Quick cycle. It cleans everyday items perfectly, in one hour. Nice.
It doesn't dry well, though. I need to towel-dry most items when I take them out.
I hope it lives up to its reputation and reviews for reliability over time. (The motor on my previous d/w, a Frigidaire, burned out after only 5 years of moderate use).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not useful at all.

Nothing but problems.
First.. i get that this is "apartment size" but it is still too small to be practical and the quickest wash cycle is an HOUR LONG. I can wash 3x the amount of dishes by hand than this tiny broken box can.
Actual problems:
spray jets clog too easy and have no end cap access to unclog them.
Bottom filter assembly dislodges itself during normal operation and allows things to get into the pump and the spray jets.
Leaks thru the front if you're not using rinse aid for some reason?
if you accidentally use too much soap and it suds up, there no way to rinse it out. you have to WAIT DAYS before the suds clear and the error code clears on the front panel. During that time, the drain pump spins until you just give up and shut off the breaker.
and finally, after a mere 3 years of use.. the circulation pump bearings are going and now the dishwasher squeals the whole time during its wash cycle.
Absolutely useless. If this wasn't part of a prebuild and wouldn't hurt my resale value, i'd tear it out and use the space for storage. The whole idea of a dishwasher, this small, this slow, and this problematic should give the designer an existential crisis.

BEEN ON HOLD WITH WHIRLPOOL FOR 1 HOUR AND 40 MINUTES AND COUNTING. PUSHED BACK AND FORTH FROM MAIN NUMBER TO PARTS BACK TO MAIN NUMBER. EVERYONE AGREES THAT THE MANUAL RECOMENDS A DRIP PAN BUT NO ONE CAN SAY WHERE TO GET ONE. FIRST PERSON COULDN'T EVEN FIND THE UNIT IN WHIRLPOOL'S SYSTEM AFTER I GAVE HER THE MODEL NUMBER 3X . STILL ON HOLD!

I bought a whirlpool dishwasher along with new house in 2003. I year or so later there was an electrical failure, it snelled like a complete short or fire. There was s recall, around 2006. I just got notice 2023 that i didnt have enough documentation supporting the failure. Dont buy whirlpool. My Bosh is about 15 years old, not a single problem!

Happy but one big problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this dishwasher but I don’t know why it needs a rinse aid. I never used it in my old one. The biggest problem is that it stays wet inside-even days later. I have to leave the door open for hours to get it dry.

Will break
on June 24, 2021

Due to a manufacturing defect, the dishwasher will break in less than 2 years. The hot water that the dishwasher uses will cause the seal to break down which will eventually lead to a leak in your kitchen. Do not buy. It will only be a headache in the end.
