We're really surprised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was in a new home we purchased. We looked at it and thought " We're going to have to wash dishes three times a day". We were amazed that it holds our whole day's load of dishes, does a better job than our old full-size dishwasher, and is so quiet that we can start it and watch the news on TV at the same time. We are glad the builder chose this model. We would have never thought it would be so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for the space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live alone in a 2 bedroom condo. I downgraded from the traditional size (24in) dishwasher to this 18in during my kitchen reno and it's perfect. I never feel like I'm wasting water/electricity because I can actually fill this up in a reasonable amount of time before needing the particular spatula/bowl again or before the unwashed plates/utensils start to smell. It's pretty quiet during the process, too. For a single occupant of this condo, this is perfect. I would say this is perfect for a couple, too. May be too small for 3 or more persons.

E4 error three months after buying - won't run

I bought this dishwasher 3 months ago, and it is now showing the E4 error and won't run a cycle. After seeing some reviews below, it seems this dishwasher is problematic for others with the same error and it isn't just a fluke with my dishwasher.
I think it's ridiculous this dishwasher is still being sold when Whirlpool knows of this common issue with this dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good size, bad operation

It's a good size for my kitchen. The circuitry is terrible. It often blinks H:01. I read the manual, no idea what this means, no explanation in the manual. I've waited an hour bc I thought it was a delay but no change. I often have to turn off the circuit breaker to make this work.
When I got the dishwasher one of the side mounting brackets didn't have a screw hole drilled, it was a tiny aluminum part I couldn't drill myself. There are no parts numbers in the manual. I talked to their help center. They were helpful, but it took 3 different brackets, multiple emails w/pictures to get the right one. The person at the help center was fantastic, followed up on my case and got the right one, glad they had someone who was a strong worker.
Whirlpool: I don't want to join a facebook group or email anyone. I want you to take this feedback and make practical changes. Include part numbers, don't make the dishwasher difficult to use, put clear complete instructions for every message that may occur. This is basic, lean manufacturing and user interface. I'm not recommending whirlpool or buying another one again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had my dishwasher installed a few days ago. I usually don't put pans in,but gave it a try. The dishes and pans came out sparkly clean. I was very impressed. I would recommend this to anybody in the market for an 18" dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just ran this dishwasher once as we have not moved into the new condo where it is installed. It seemed to work well - a little early to assess performance completely - but I will say that it is extremely quiet. This is a real plus, as this kitchen is a small one, in a small condo.
If the past is any judge, our Whirlpool dishwasher (full size) at our current home is over 10 years old, and has given us faultless service. That's why we picked Whirlpool again!
