Like all new appliances, this is junk

6 months old and barely used. Already have an E4 error code. Technician came out and couldn't tell me what caused the error, or if it was fixed. Was going to order the part "just in case". Now without working dishwasher for 3 weeks. Absolute garbage quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overlay Assembly broke

It's ok but the touch pad on the central panel broker. I'm trying to get an Overlay Assembly kit and no one has them. Super frustrating. If Whirlpool could help, that would be great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this dishwasher. I wish the silverware basket were in a better place. Maybe up front? Hard to know where would be better. My big problem is that I cannot clear the control panel!! If I accidently hit start, I have to wait unitl the next time I use it (beeps and all). There is a cancel button (same as start) but I am yet to clear the display until it clears itself after a cycle completes! Manual not helpful.

We're really surprised!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was in a new home we purchased. We looked at it and thought " We're going to have to wash dishes three times a day". We were amazed that it holds our whole day's load of dishes, does a better job than our old full-size dishwasher, and is so quiet that we can start it and watch the news on TV at the same time. We are glad the builder chose this model. We would have never thought it would be so good.
