Good Dishwasher. Fits low height openings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a very tight opening in our home, as the previous owner placed floor tiles in the opening without raising the cabinets. As such, we have very limited height, and this unit is an ADA Approved Unit, so its height can be adjusted to fit perfectly in our kitchen. Some reviews talk about the buttons not working etc. That's because they are sensitive to touch, so you don't have to PUSH them hard like many seem to be doing. Just hold your finger on the on button, and voila - it turns on. The only quirk I see is that the HEATED DRY function turns on automatically when you turn the unit on. Just touch it if you don't want heated dry, and it easily turns off. Other than that, it's a great unit, very quiet, and it washes our dishes. What else can you ask for??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased had it for 2 weeks, it’s very quiet and washes clean and spotless. When using heat dry function it leaves moisture in dishwasher which l don’t like. Otherwise looks great in kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher remains wet inside continuously. Top shelve does not dry completely. We were told we used too much soap, not the case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last dishwasher had a small tray at the top, which I found useful of course this unit does not have that. Drying the dishes after washing does not work as I had hoped. The wash cycle is strong enough and works fine. The silverware tray is great, and easy to fill and empty. The door seems to be fingerprint resident. Easy to read and understand control panel. I am happy so far, lets see next year.

Awful rack design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this dishwasher for about three weeks so far and I am very disappointed in the arrangement of the racks. The tines are so short that they do not hold the dishes properly. The silverware rack only fits in the middle of the lower rack, which eliminates significant space for dinner places. The upper rack tines are so small that cups and other dishes fall over and move around, or other dishes and bowls have to be completely flat. So I can only fit a few small dishes in each load on the top rack since they are laying flat and not up/tilted at all. Especially considering the cost of this dishwasher I am extremely frustrated. It is fairly quiet and the cycles and buttons work well, but the design of the racks is absurd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was installed 1/4/2019 and it is the worst machine I have ever used. Putting dishes in is almost impossible. My 2006 Whirlpool dishwasher was great but I have gone back to washing my dishes by hand, my husband uses I, but not me. If you could have someone show how to use it that would be great.

sub-par for a big brand name

Jul. 6, 2020; Update Whjirlpool Dishwasher: WDT 730PAHZ; Marc Bitzer, CEO whirlpool appliances
Dear CEO Marc, [July 6, 20] I am sorry to report that one of your greatest problems, at least in your large appliances division, is very poor quality control and engineering design manufacturing. I am referring to your dishwasher WDT 730PAHZ. 1) The insertion of soap and Finish liquid area needs to be enlarged. For the Finish Dry unit, I needed a magnifying glass because the area was so small, and in addition, it was a dark color—should have been light gray or ivory—seemingly an easy design. I still am unable to figure out the ‘full’ designation for the Finish drying unit. Also, mugs and glasses require tilting or it will contain water after 4 hours. My former Hotpoint of fifty (50) years took 20 mins to wash and after one hour or more, everything was dry. And all we had to do was fill the unit, close the door, and press the “on” button. Your computerized dishwasher reflects low quality customer concern. IMLee, Stanford, CA with copies to some members of the Board/Exec Divsn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher came with our new home but I would buy it again in the future. It is both beautiful and high functioning, meeting the demands of our family of 5.
