Love my new Hybrid dryer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, the only thing that whirlpool needs to do is to stop the lint from getting behind these lint catcher at the bottom of the dryer, it still manages to get on the coil and I have to vacuum it out, besides that it’s a great dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

trusted name but not so trusty product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in June but due to my renovation, I wasn't able to use till last week. This dryer keep making strange sound which wasn't sure and then stopes with few error code displaying....I have mounts of dirty laundry but won't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Scary dryer experience!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dryer and after 5 to 10 uses, an explosion inside the machine occurred. Chemicals billowed setting off our smoke/fire alarms. After the technician came to see what had happened, it was discovered that the Freon line burst and the Freon expelled into the air.
Quite surprised that 4 out of the 6 expensive brand new appliances purchased had broken immediately especially with liability such as an explosion and our new stove glass shattering while making muffins.
Not happy at all!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poorly designed lint filter

poorly designed lint filter. Condenser clogs easily. Condenser is now clogged with no way to clean without dissembling the entire dryer. Whirlpool will not address this issue.

Good in theory, maybe

We bought a previous model about 6 years ago. I knew about cleaning them and don't mind the disassembly to do a deep clean. Problem is, you can't actually clean it. And dirt build up inside the evaporator and there is no way of getting it out. These things are absolute garbage. Don't ever buy a heat pump dryer!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing vent less dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is huge with lots of space to dry our clothes. The noise level 1 to 5 could be a 3. If you are doing more than 4 loads the same day, then it will get a little warm in the room, but for the most part, it is fine.
My only complaint will be that the clothes come out a little wrinkled. We tried to fix it by adding good quality softener to the washing cycle and anti-wrinkle drying sheets and that seems to work a little better.
Other than that, It is amazing.

Expensive but it works!

New technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this hybrid dryer for about a month and so far it is working great. Not having to use an external dryer vent was the main reason for purchasing this unit. Some heavy items take a little longer due to the energy efficiency of this hybrid unit but saving on electricity is worth it.
