The case looks a lot better in person than online. I love how slim it is. I was worried it would be a bulky case, but I am glad it's as slim as it is. The only thing I have a problem with is the price. I wanted a really good protective case and OtterBox has great reviews, but I can't help to wonder if I couldn't find the same type of case in a generic brand.

The case is great! Not as bulky as some of the other OtterBox cases I had in the past. The clear case gives the phone a nice aesthetic. I do find that the clear symmetry case is hard to put on and take off—I always feel like I'm going to snap my phone in two.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been using this case for a couple weeks now. It was not what I expected in the first place but I thought I would try it.
The case I got for my first pixel was awesome, a hard protective shell with built in screen protector and a soft rubbery outside for shock absorption. I thought this one, for the google pixel 3 would be similar but it's not. It's a hard shell, no screen and no rubbery shock absorption. So much less for around the same price. On top of that, there are barely any color choices for cases. It's not pleasing to look at and it's not very functional, at a *very* high cost when you factor in the need for a screen protector to be bought separately. I expected that by buying one that didn't say "screenless" I would get a screen. Why have that distinction in some of the product names if none of them have screens?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

True, the Symmetry is constructed without a built-in screen protector and does incorporate a sleek, one-piece design. The Google Pixel 3 Defender series is described as 'screenless,' since we knew that fans of the traditional Defender style might be expecting an integrated screen shield. This term was utilized to decrease confusion, so we're bummed that, in this situation, it only created more!
That being said, it sounds like the Defender might be more up your alley. While the new style is screenless, it still sports the outer rubber slipcover that you claim to have missed with the Symmetry series. The case is really stiff and almost impossible to remove without applying a lot of strength. It works with wireless charging so its not that big of an issue but taking it off made me really concerned about breaking my phone. It doesnt resist well to scratches. 3 stars because it does its job of protecting my phone but I think for the price its possible to find a case more convenient and better looking.

This case as usual is excellent quality with a great fit, but no screen? Kind of defeats the purpose I'm still walking around paranoid that I'm going to scratch or damage my brand new phone. I will be no longer purchasing these cases so long as they only offer screeners editions.
