Been using this case for a week or so and so far enjoy it. Its a very tight fit though! Careful when trying to remove it to clean! This is a good thing... other clear cases ive tried had loose edges around the screen on the sides. Havent really dropped it yet so cant speak for protection but its solid so i have hopes for it. Its almost like a 2 part case but its only one piece.The back half of the case is a hard plastic material, the front half is a less hard slightly rubbery material. In the pictures I Currently have it paired with the caseology tempered glass screen protector since otterbox doesnt make an alphaglass yet for the pixel 3. Fits decent. It was however shipped with a scratch on the inside back but i didnt want to spend the time repackaging and wait 2 weeks to exhange. Dropped 1 star because of the scratch. Would love to try the defender case down the road. Overall impressed with the otterbox line. Thanks!

Disappointing

Although I love the subtle glitter of this case, the front rim is already yellowed and gross looking after 2 months with normal use. Not impressed. I'm emailed otterbox with zero response, these are expensive cases and expect better. I've had clear sunglasses for 2 years that haven't had this issue. I wouldn't buy it again...I'm now looking for a new case. What a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Case looks great and it arrived way before the estimated date. But there is a manufacturing defect at the bottom, right where the phone rests on my finger. I can probably file it down with some sandpaper, but I would prefer to have received a pristine product.

Turns my mild-mannered phone into a super-pixel

I pre-ordered the Google Pixel 3 and ordered this case the day that the phone shipped. First of all, it arrived a day before my phone, so a major shoutout to Otterbox for their quick availability for brand-new phone designs!
The case is a perfect fit and doesn't obstruct the sensors, cameras, or other features of the phone. Plus, it's given my phone super strength! Okay, it's can't leap tall buildings with a single bound, but it can be dropped from my pocket or chest height and it's unlikely that it'll break! ...what I'm trying to say is that I'm clumsy and this case helps reduce the chances of me breaking my very expensive phone.
Now, if only I could recognize it when it's wearing glasses...

This is my 4th OtterBox I believe, and it's exactly what I wanted and needed for my new Pixel. It adds quite a bulk to the phone, but since it's very slippery without a case, that's just what I need. And it can fall off the bed or my desk without me even flinching. Great protection!

I really like the clear case. Unfortunately, there are a few drawbacks. The case is VERY difficult to get on and off of the phone. I understand a snug fit is good, but it is so very snug that I was afraid I was going to damage the phone when I put the case on. Once on, I feel that my phone is well protected. I have had several OtterBox cases before and I do trust them.
Another drawback is the power button is very stiff. It won't get pushed accidentally, that's for sure! It takes quite a bit of pressure.
The third thing I am not crazy about is the sharpness around the fingerprint scanner. I would think the opening around the actual scanner could be tapered, but it isn't. It scrapes your finger as you try to scan your print. I was disappointed with this.
All of that said, I bought the case to protect my phone and I believe this case will do that job! I was willing to pay the extra money to get quality protection, I just wish these few things were a little better. (Purchased for Pixel 3)
