Perfect addition to my Blendtec! I was trying a recipe that called for finely minced garlic and ginger, so I put it in my Twister jar and pulsed a few times and it was PERFECT! Then using the Twister spatula allowed me to get it all out with no waste.

I love my blendtec and use it nearly every day. However, the twister jar was horrible for making almond butter. It sounded like the bearings were going to come shooting out the jar. Very worried that it broke my blender. Terrible!!!

I frequently make several kinds of Indian flat breads that require blending soaked rice and lentils and blending to a paste which is allowed to ferment and then gets spread out on a griddle to bake into a thin, crispy, flatbread. It's important to blend the mixture as thickly as possible to get it nice and smooth. This is stressful on the usual blender jar. The twister jar handles this task beautifully and I don't have to worry about burning out the motor. It's the little blender that Can.

Great For Making Peanut Butter

I had been using my WildSide Jar for making peanut butter and I hated it. That jar is too big and I had to constantly stop to get it to blend. So I was really happy that one day I was looking at the Promotional emails I was getting and I saw this Twister Jar. I remembered I had a 50% off coupon for any jar, so I thought it was reasonable to pay whatever I ended up paying, I think $40.
This jar is much smaller and a perfect size for making nut or peanut butters. It comes with 2 lids (one that is a twister lid and one that is a regular lid. It also comes with a spatula that helps with getting the nut butter out of the jar.
Loving this jar MUCH better than the WildSide for these butters.
My only complaint which I'm not sure if Blendtec to could is I wish there was an easier way to clean the jar after the very sticky butters are blended. I do scrape as much of the butter out of the jar, and do my normal Blendtec jar clean putting some dishwashing liquid and water, then pulsing it on the base. But usually this takes a couple tries, THEN, I have to use on high pressure my sink faucet spray to get residual butter right near the rotation of the blade.
Weekly I'm making nearly 2 lbs of fresh peanut butter and my husband likes the way I make it rather than making it fresh at WinCo. That's the only reason why I bought this jar.
The twisting lid is very helpful because I don't have to stop the Blendtec and scrape the sides because just by turning the lid, it does this. And I didn't know this has been out for a number of years already.

My wife bought this for my birthday, as I had been looking to purchase a quality smoothie maker. We had 3 lesser quality ones that all died. My daughter and I are very happy with this Blendtec Go-fit. It makes our daily (or 2 times per day) smoothie like a champ. They come out with a fabulous consistency. We purchased an extra cup, so we can both have one at the same time. Look forward to purchasing another Blendtec when our regular blender dies :-)

This time of year we do a lot of basil pesto. Using the standard jar, or our Cuisinart, it difficult. The twister jar is a big improvement.

Excellent Smoothie Blender

Bought this a few weeks ago for the workplace. I tried it out at home and my wife wanted to keep it at home and give me the Vitamix to take to work. I said no way. It mixes better than my Vitamix and just takes a few seconds to clean. I’m very glad I made this purchase.
