I bought this so I wouldn't make too much for myself! It works perfect and it scared me at first when it went into its phases as it mixed my smoothie. Definitely use the buttons of choices. They mix perfectly, and if you like them smoother mix twice.

I finally have a complete set of jars: the Twister, the Mini-Twister and the Wildside
I use my Blendtec every day make protein shakes, but I also make hummus, sauces, batters, nut milk, dressings, and dips using whichever of the three sizes of jars is right for the task.

I made bean fudge over the holidays using my Mini-Twister jar since I didn't have the Twister jar yet, and I thought the Wildside jar was just too big. The fudge was good, but it hard to make in the Mini-Twister so that's when I decided I needed the Twister jar too.

I received my Blendtec a month ago as a gift and ordered the twister jar to allow for the making of nut butters and hummus. The twister jar works so well for smaller quantities of nut butters and hummus. What a genius idea of the twister jar and it has proven to be a great addition to my Blendtec.
