Usually there's a learning curve to these things, but the blendtec twister jar worked like a charm on my first batch of Organic roasted almond butter. I'm happy!

I bought the twister jar about a month ago and have used it to make hummus twice. It does a great job and the results are so much smoother than when using a traditional food processor. The Blendtec motor is very powerful and as you use the twister jar and twist it, you can feel the power. Almost too powerful for the little jar when using the salsa/dips preset button. But I think after a few more uses I’ll get more comfortable with it. I also like the size as it is easy to remove your finished product (as opposed to the standard jar which can be oversized when trying to make small portions). I look forward to trying more recipes with the Twister Jar in order to justify its hefty price tag.

I really like this blender and glad that I made the purchase. Best for making smoothies - love that I can insert a solo cup and make my smoothie on that rather then dirty my jar. Do be careful if u add ice as I find that it breaks the solo cup.

I bought the smaller jar to make smaller recipes, but it’s not much good for a shakes or salad dressing recipe unless you want chunks remaining.
