I have been wanting the Twister jar, and I finally bought it. I like that it is smaller than the Wildside jar, but still does an amazing job of blending and making smoothies.
This small jar packs quite the punch. We use them to make Boba Tea at our business and they do a great job! Highly recommend them for smoothies, frappes and Boba Tea just to name a few.
Yes, I have two Twister Jars as one just isn't enough. Yes, I have used them for nut butter and grinding dried vanilla beans. My real purpose is the perfect size to make smoothies for the 3 and 5 year old Grands. They don't need full size smoothies and they each have their own tastes. So two Twist Jars are awesome!
This jar enables me to make perfectly smooth peanut butter! Very slight learning curve on speed and turning the handle. My daughter loves my blendtech so she wants one now! Made in the USA!! She has a ninja and my smoothies and butter are far better. It must be the consistency as my toddler granddaughter won't drink my daughters smoothies but loves mine with the same ingredients. It is smoother so I can sneak in lots of spinach.
My personal plant butter recipe: Roast about a 1/3 of your jars capacity of raw peanuts to medium brown in your oven on 375 degrees,(Stir frequently for an even roast.) cool and throw in the jar, add 2-3 tablespoons of raw honey, a teaspoon of salt (Adjust to states) and 2 Tablespoons of melted coconut oil. Enjoy
I make a green smoothie everyday with a lot of leafy greens, sprouts, and seaweed sauerkraut. Since I started doing this I have burned out the motor on a few decent blenders. I decided to spend a little more to hopefully get something that lasts. So far so good. I just needed something basic so the simple controls are fine. It is no louder than my old Oster or Cuisinart. It is easy to clean. It is unobtrusive on the counter. With my other blenders I would sometimes get chunks or fiberous bits stuck in my straw but with this blender the texture is baby food smooth. I’m happy with this purchase but will update if that ever changes.
