I originally purchased this blender to grind Einkorn wheat berries. I could’ve purchased a mill for about the same price but a mill can do only one thing. This blender does a lot more and doesn’t take up much room in my small kitchen.

This little guy is the bomb. All the parts are very substantially made....the container, lids.... so easy to whip up a quick salad dressing. Mainly use it for making almond butter, hummus, salsas, fresh salad dressing. Fresh almond butter is amazing. 1 1/2 dry roasted almonds for about 60 seconds. That's it. Done. So good. And a bargain. Simple clean up too.

Exactly one year ago (December 18, 2018) I received my first Blendtec. It was a Total Blender Classic with 10 speeds, pulse, six presets, and a four-sided jar. I loved it! The only thing that it did not do perfectly, however, was make nut butters. Because I am somewhat of a health-food addict, I love to make my own nut butters; and after reading some reviews and watching some videos of the twister jar, I decided to give it a try. I am absolutely THRILLED! In 50 seconds I can make perfectly smooth nut butters with no added oil. I heartily recommend this jar to anyone wanting to make healthful nut butters. So far I have not tried to make other types of food with this jar, and I still use the four-sided jar for fruit smoothies and protein shakes. The combination of the four-sided jar and the twister jar is definitely a winning combination for all health-minded persons.

Twister Jar could be better if it was more durable

I bought the Twister Jar 4 years ago for my mother. It works as advertised but it's durability isn't what I thought it was. After 4 years and many uses, it's starting to leak some small black residue from the gasket into the mixtures. Blendtec said it's pass it's warranty since I bought it after I purchased the Blendtec unit and it's not covered in the 10 year warranty. They did give me coupon code to buy a new one at half price, which I will. Good jar but they need to make them more durable for hard users. And don't worry, she doesn't use it in a commercial kitchen, only home use.
