This is for my son who has special needs and doesn’t like vegetables in general. His caregivers now make nutritious smoothies that he loves to drink and the (veggies included) so he’s getting them, but doesn’t know it!
Not worth the price point. After one use, the jar immediately stained. Tried all the recommended cleaning by Blendtec and nothing would remove the stain. Better to get the Vitamix with their stainless steel jar. Also, you have to hold the lid while blending otherwise, you will have a mess.
I bought this so I wouldn't have to buy a separate appliance (food processor) to make my hummus recipe. I was trying to make it in the large pitcher but had to constantly stop/stir/start to get it to the right consistency. This pulverizes it in about 15 seconds while using the twister top constantly. The only negative is that it vibrates severely while mixing, not sure if that can be alleviated somehow but still happy with the job it does. Also super easy to clean!

I absolutely love Twister jar works great for Nut Butter, mashed or riced cauliflower, pretty much anything that gets stuck in a regular blender. The only reason I took off one-star is because it is very small compared to the other Blendtec jars and you cannot fit much in at once. Using the regular lid to make normal shakes I would give it to 0 Stars if possible. I made one shake on smoothie setting walked out of the room as I normally do because of the loud sound and when I walked back in there was green sludge all over my kitchen the lid did not stay on and I had definitely sealed it correctly

I'm tired of finding lumps and unprocessed chunks of food when I use this jar, REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG I KEEP IT RUNNING. It will start warming up the contents before it can process it all well enough. It's lousy, lousy, lousy. They market it as a good jar for nut butters, but their message also sells it as a great jar for smaller amounts (Like the calorie-packed smoothies I make for my 2.5 year-old). Well, it isn't. I'm disappointed to have spent so much on it. FYI, I have the 3.8 peak horsepower motor, and have tried the jar at highest speed.
I had gotten around to writing this review two days ago, I would have given this 5 stars and said that everyone needs to add the twister jar to their Blendtec. We were using weekly to make creamy nutbutter much more easily than I had been with my juicer and Blendtec combined, and we were using it daily to make the best soft serve ice cream from various fruits. I loved it! Unfortunately, yesterday when I was making a liquid sauce, I noticed that it seemed to be leaking out of the bottom. The seal around the blade had become loose. Then this morning when using it, the blade became completely disconnected. I just bought the twister jar in mid-February, and it was broken by the 2nd of April. I purchased it because of its capability to make nut butters and ice creams. If you can't do these things without adding liquids (I use soft nuts (walnuts are 50%) in my nut butter, and unfrozen banana or orange in addition to my frozen fruit in ice cream), then I personally don't think think it is any improvement over the WildSide Jar. Unless you just want a smaller size. The twister lid and the regular lid are nice features, I made making cashew cream a breeze. Just be aware that it fairly delicate. Also, I have contacted customer service and I have every faith that they will take care of me, as customer service is always wonderful
