Awesome @1st Now Disappointing

Purchased two blendtecs over the years, then decided to make a major investment in the 800. Awesome sound dampening and operation. After a few years it stopped blending properly. Out of 7 days a week I use maybe 4 days 90% smoothies. Customer service had me return for repair. Unit repaired. a few years later started smoking. Had me return it again. Customer service is great in that Blendtec backs their warranty. After a few months, I detect a slight burning smell and the unit does not run like it used to....it's almost as if someone turned down the throttle(I know it sounds hard to believe but it doesn't have the power it used to). At this point I am at a loss, I have not called CS. I don't know if I got a lemon but for the amount invested I am very, very disappointed. It's still within warranty but how many times do I have to box this up and send it back? I have recommended Blendtec to others but I will not be doing so anymore. At this point I would like a resolution that does not involve me shipping this back again...this would be the 3rd time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Impressive!

I recently bought the Blendtec Stealth. I have used Vitamix, Blendtec, and Breville in the past. This is very similar in performance to my Blendtec 625 that I had, but it is SO MUCH more quiet and a bit more powerful. The only down side is that there seems to be some factory grease on it from out of the box that doesn't seem to be water soluble. It's frustrating because it is such a beautiful looking machine, but then I have this dark grease on it, which gets on my hands and is kind of sticky. Maybe I just got unlucky with that. I digress, this is truly an impressive machine!

except this one is so much quieter. It gets the job done, but the flat control panel, and the icons (I suppose people just like graphics these days) are not to my liking. The big insult is to read in the user's manual that there is a "clean" button, which mine does not have. Another thing, the number of blends does not appear when I turn on the machine. It only says PROFESSIONAL.

I bought this about 3 months ago, and I just love it! I love the Blendtec blender and this is just the icing the cake !! Works perfectly - so quiet -so easy to use - so easy to clean ! Just PERFECT in every way !

The sound enclosure is very very poorly assembled. They have sent me two and both very poorly put together. The Blendtec labels were glued on crooked as well on both sound enclosures and motor bases. Where is the factory quality control? I just want a full refund.

So far, so fantastic! It is wonderfully quiet and powerful. We are a couple of months in and have used daily for smoothies and many times a week on top of that for hummus, cheese sauces, soups and more.

Keeps burning itself up

Sadly I'm on my fourth or fifth (lost count) replacement blendtec pro 800. They have all burned themselves out when the hot soup mode was used, filling my kitchen with burned electronics smells.
