It really is quiet. I had the Designer model, but when I got my puppy a few weeks ago, the noise continued to frighten him. This model helps us both live in peace together.

Love, love, love the Professional 800 Blendtec. We've been Blendtec users for years, but this model has a noise reducing cover that comes down over the blender while mixing. The motor is powerful and blends anything we throw in. My husband is a vegan so blends lots of whole foods - this machine handles it with ease. Worth every penny - highly recommend.

It’s now been 12 yrs and still going strong. We work our Blender a couple of times a week for smoothies, often with frozen fruit and ice!! We even add raw almonds and yet you would never know, because of how smooth the finished product is. An Excellent Blender!!
