The GO is my favorite Blendtec jar. I love being able to make and drink my smoothie in one jar and I love the convenience of being able to take my drink with me on outings. I also like being able to take off the blade section, clean it and set it to dry while still using the rest of the jar. I've used my GO about a dozen times and every time my smoothie has been entirely blended and smooth. Most times I have put frozen berries and greens into the jar with some water before heading to bed. In the morning I simply add any other ingredients such as powder and sometimes ground nuts.

I've had my blendtec for years and I love it. It's been on my counter for 8 years now. I use it every day. I decided to try the Bendtec Go and I love it because I can make single smoothies. I make my smoothie, put the cover on, and it's ready to go. I definitely recommend it!

Like the concept, but needs work

I like the Blendtec Go, but I'm not completely sold. My favorite feature is the "go" cup. The size, the easy-to-clean aspect, and the handle are great. But the cap...countless times, I've thought I'd screwed the top down and ended up with smoothie all over me. Also, the Blendtec Go blends together soft, smooth ingredients, but it does only the job of a low-grade blender on greens and even ice. It doesn't blend to a smooth texture. Lastly, the blender bottle tends to shake. When blending "tougher" ingredients, the unit doesn't seem to stay steady and on occasion has even sprayed its contents.

I bought this about a month ago and have used it several times. I would say about half of those time there has been an issue. They include: the cup vibrating off the base while blending, the cup opening while blending, being unable to remove the blender base for a couple hours with two construction working men, and finally today having the lid to the cup open all over my lunch box. Shaker cups are simple and I’ve never had an issue. Blend in the normal Blendtec blender egos is amazing and pour in a $7 shaker. Hopefully I can still return and get a refund.

I bought my Blendtec blender as a kit with the Wild Side and a smaller one as a kit. When I saw this Blendtec Go online I thought it was smaller/portable and it ended up being the same size/weight as my full size. I am in love with the Wild side and smaller one that came as that kit.

Doesn’t blend as advertised. Frozen fruit, fresh fruit, and ice cubes all have chunks left that are gross and don’t go through a straw. I haven’t even tried the solo cup feature because I think it’s wasteful. Buy the mini wildside instead, does as good a job as the big jars in smaller portions.

I love this addition to our Blentec set. It is perfect for 2 Smoothies or 2 Rum Drinks. It blends well and cleans well. My only issue is that I received in the set 3 Plastic Disposable Cups with 3 Plastic Lids with 3 Plastic Straws. In this day and age of 'No Plastic', I was a little surprised to have this automatically added to the box. People can use re-usable cups and, if they need a straw, then a metal or paper one. Hopefully Blendtec can take these out of the package and give other suggestions. Besides that I love it.
