It’s better than the small single cup blenders you see. But it doesn’t do the same job as the full size pitcher that came with the blender.

Great size for blending but much less power than the wild side and mini wild size. I purchased to have less dishes to wash by blending in the same cup I’ll be drinking from, but I have to scrape down the walls just to get protein powder mixed, and if I add in fruit or anything else, I have to prepare for chunks. Cleaning on the blender doesn’t even have enough power to clean the inside. I see myself using this much less than I do my wild sides.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clean the seal every use

I did not realize the seal on the micronizer gets food stuck in it. My seal is covered in black molded food bits that I can't clean off. Be sure to clean the seal so you don't lose use of your micronizer and travel bottles. I can't find a replacement seal.

Good for her on the go and not having to worry about spilling during the actual blending process. The way it’s designed there’s not gonna be a smoothie blending accident, which sometimes happens with the other more traditional Blendtec jars. Wish there were other options for the mammoth top. Right now the only option is a giant dome top with a big spout opening to drink from. Ideally in the future, they’ll be some thing a little bit more along the lines of a sleek lid, which you can find throughout the marketplace for other bottles. Little bit more attention to design on the top .

I was hoping this would be an easy way to make smaller smoothies and frozen treats, but its proving harder to get this to work as intended. The blends come out chunky instead of smooth, it takes more stopping and shaking the bottle to keep it blending. The noise is considerable compared to the larger jars, it seems the blade assembly does not sit as deep as the larger jars into the base and it causes noise, wear on the blade assembly.

I bought my Blendtec blender as a kit with the Wild Side and a smaller one as a kit. When I saw this Blendtec Go online I thought it was smaller/portable and it ended up being the same size/weight as my full size. I am in love with the Wild side and smaller one that came as that kit.
