This works fine, with the exception of adding powders. Doing the smoothies in the order that you are supposed to add the ingredients… the powders seem to stay on the edge and not fully mix.

Bought this a year ago. It’s had light use. The bearing went out and the base started smoking when blending a sauce. The blade was frozen when it cooled. The bearing is clearly not adequate for the high speeds of the blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Blendtec Go jar for over three years now - and it is the thing I use every single day. It's been the most reliable of my jars and I literally use it daily for Bulletproof/Butter coffee. It's easy to use and easy to carry around. The one thing to note: DO NOT screw the bottom on too tightly! nothing ruins your morning like trying to unscrew a stuck on bottle.
