Great Fire Alarm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few weeks ago and tested it our and it seems to be the perfect sensitivity. I have not set it off by cooking yet. It is in my dining room close to the kitchen and stove. It does work very well through as I moved it close to some smoke it went off. It works with just a battery and also if you plug it into the wires. It also came with a 9V battery already which was nice to not have to go to the store and buy an extra for this. I would recommend this one to anyone looking to replace an old fire alarm.

Great Smoke Detector!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectric Sensor was super easy to install. I replaced a smoke detector I had in the dining room with this one and I'm so much happier with it. I no longer get false alarms from regular cooking. I like the slim design which is hardly noticeable on the ceiling. It has a silent and test button which is nice. It only requires one 9V battery and has an end-of-life signal when it's time to replace it. I am confident that First Alert will alert me when needed.

Easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectric Sensor to put in our kitchen. It was super easy to install It comes with a battery and the hardware to install it. The slim design is nice makes it hardly noticeable. It is pretty sensitive the oven was smoking and it went off it is loud and that is a good thing. It also has a test button. We plan on getting several more of First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectric Sensor to hang up in other parts of the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first alert Pr700 has a very slim sleek design much different from the regular bulky smoke detectors it was very easy to install no tools necessary and also has batteries included also it promises to only go off in real emergencies not to trip on minor incidents like steam or cigarette smoke which is a blessing I'm real impressed and hope to get years of use from it and have already recommended it to friends and family also thinking of purchasing for entire homes especially since I can install myself

That’s why I choose First Alert PR700 with all of the extra safety features. Like the Photoelectic that First Alert PR700 has, the photoelectric that is used to show light that is interrupted by the smoke which adds a extra safety feature. As soon as the smoke hits the light, the smoke detector alarms. The smoke detector is easy to install in about 10 minutes, using the hardware that comes with it. It takes 3 double AA batteries that is also included in the package. The smoke detector doesn’t go off from every day smoke like cooking or from steam from taking a hot shower. I am very happy with my First Alert PR700 Smoke detector. It will recall the carbon monoxide levels detected so all of the highest is keep up with. It has a 10 year warranty that is included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with the Photoelectric Sensor. It will detect regular or slow smoldering fires. It is easy to install, is loud, has a LED indicator light and test button. It also reduces false alarms from cooking. Happy to replace our old one with this as our old one wasn't dependable. This detector has a direct smoke path to the photoelectric sensor. I will try to buy more of these as I know i can depend on First Alert Smoke Detectors to keep my family safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to try and replace some of the old ones in the house and am happy with it so far. I found the installation to be pretty easy and pretty quick. I did have to put new holes in for the screws as they were differently spaced but was not too had to find a new spot. it comes with a battery which is good and the sound is good as per the test button. havent had the chance to test the photoelectic sensor as yet but seems to work as far as I can tell. need to get a few more for the house when I get the chance
