[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed my First Alert slim smoke detector, small fits inconspicuous area. Very pleasing color. Works well detects smoke from 39 feet away. Alarm was very loud could hear from multiple rooms. I recommend buying this product, I plan on purchasing more of the smoke detectors for the remaining rooms of my home. Very easy to install , comes with a detailed user’s manual. Very impressed with quality of something that is so small. But can save you from losing everything. Something so small can save your life .

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the First Alert smoke detector with photoelectric sensor on my main floor. I found it easy to install with the included mounting bracket and hardware and love the slim appearance on my ceiling, it is not noticeable at all! The white color matches perfectly. The testing function is easy to push and use. The included 9V battery also saved me an extra trip to the store. I haven't had it go off on its own, which is always a plus. I have always loved First Alert products, and this one is just as great!

Worked great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my son to put in his house in the living room. The one he had kept going off all the time especially when they were cooking in the kitchen. And so far so good with this one, hasn't gone off at all in 3 days. All we did was put the base on the ceiling and then put the battery in and the front on it, real easy to install and it looks nice. Do like how slim it is and it's not as noticeable as his old one was. I would recommend it. And you can't go wrong with the price of it. Better to be safe than sorry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this alarm. It is thin and sleek and looks more decorative than my last alarm. I like that it is not big and bulky. It is white so it matches any décor. It is low profile and really loud also. We got it installed and tested it and you could hear it all over the house, and we have a fairly large house. It was easy to install and setup. It has very clear instructions. It takes no time at all to install. It only takes a nine volt battery so there is no wiring required. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the First Alert PR700 Battery Powered Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectic Sensor. I love the slim width. Very easy to put on the wall or ceiling. Love the technology of the photoelectric sensor...it will detect smoltering fires and new fires. VERY loud sound when smoke is detected so it is great to wake everyone up. I hope I never need it and feel alot safer with it. A definite must have in everyone's house, garage and even campers. Save your life...get a First Alert Slim Smoke Detector with Photoelectic Sensor!!!

Peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew where I was going to put this smoke detector when I received it. It arrived in a plastic package which was pretty easy to get into. It came with batteries and the hardware to put it up with. The back is detachable so it was easy to put up on the wall. I live in a mobile home so I needed to use the wall anchors with the screws. I installed it down the hallway of my home. It has a button that you can use to test the smoke detector. It is pretty loud, which is a good thing. I like the slimness of the unit, as this lets it be almost unnoticeable. I feel good knowing I have a smoke detector in a part of my house where we don't normally go.

Works wonderful and very reliable. The First Alert brand is a brand I can trust.. Very easy to install and is very thin to fit where you need it to! Every house needs to have quite a few smoke detectors for youlpr safety. Testing it monthly is very easy and the volume of the alarm is good enough to wake someone up out of a sleep highly satisfied with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This particular model appeals to me because its slimline design renders it unobtrusive when fixed to the wall. It was very easy to mount on the wall and came complete with all the necessary hardware. The manufacturers even included a 9 volt battery. When testing the smoke alarm, I found that the alarm sound was very loud, which it needs to be because my wife and myself are very sound sleepers. I am appreciative of the photoelectric sensor technology which is supposed to safeguard against too many false alarms. Very happy with this product.
